Our stay at Whitley House was as amazing experience. The grounds are beautiful even in the changing of seasons. Our room was extremely beautiful and very, very clean and comfortable. This B&B is very serene and relaxing. Melanie, our host and owner of Whitley House made our stat extra special. Breakfast was amazing and her hospitality made us feel very much "at home". We would recommend this B&B to anyone wanting a lovely experience.

My husband and I was well travelled, me being a retired travel agent after 25 years, and he works overseas. We have to say this was one of the best experinces we have had. Whitley house is an absoulte gem. Melanie has done an amazing job, staring with the renovations on the house, the rooms are emaculate and well appointed. The gardens are absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in the India room, which was perfect for us. It has a great little kitchenette, and private entrance with a great little deck. Melanie is the perfect hostess, she made us feel so welcomed. The nights we stayed they went by so quick. The property is an absolute must!

What a beautiful property. The grounds are spectacular. Rooms great, beds are really comfy and the host is a delight. Excellent location to the quaint Village of Qualicum Beach. Can walk or ride to the beach or town. Owner has done such a great job of making this property special. Perfect for a wedding or any other special event.

Room Tip: All are great however, if you prefer to have your own access without going through the home choose t...

Breakfast was the best we ever had during our 3 week visit touring Canada, this included the place we ate - on the veranda, the service - friendly and excellent, food - wonderful, different, fresh, thoughtfully arranged, wonderful food. The room and bathroom were lovely and the girls made the difference, even to lending me a pair of curling tongs when mine would not work! Both girls were friendly and helpful in getting us a new pair of tongs and the loan of a wheelchair whilst mine was being repaired. We felt as though we were staying with friends! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat, the surrounding, the best we have ever stayed in. What a place. You must go!

I would not hesitate to recommend Whitley House to anyone for their event. Melanie, the proprietor, was a great host and helped us get everything together for our wedding. Her team helped with setup, coordinating several vendors, and tear down.
I personally stayed in the B&B for two nights and had very comfortable sleeps. The rooms are newly renovated, modern, quiet and very clean. Breakfast was amazing.
Thanks for everything!

Room Tip: We stayed in the India and Tree House rooms and both were gorgeous.

We stayed here for 7 days in July when we were visiting family in nearby Parksville. It was exactly what a great B&B should be: easy to find yet private location; large room with a comfortable bed & private balcony; and tasty breakfasts. Each of our breakfasts had something new & featured fresh ingredients & great coffee. The spacious grounds and the rooms are decorated in a tasteful Japanese theme adding to the peaceful elegance of our stay. Highly recommended.
