We were hesitant when we saw photos online and drove into the driveway....but we met Maxine the owner who is warm, friendly and delightful to talk to and were sold after we had our tour. The gardens are beautiful and she has atleast 3 sets of patio furniture in different hidden areas for you to sit in. We rented the cottage for 4 adults and one baby and it was perfect. She has redecorated it with antique furnishings and crisp white linens. The bathroom was brand new and elegant. The beds were very comfortable with fluffy down comforters. The cottage has a large tv and dvd player and lots of books to peruse. Breakfast was several courses and delicious. She has a huge sitting area in the main house for guests with a flat screen tv. All the rooms are decorated elegantly and I would consider equivalent to a 5 star hotel. We definately recommend it to others. The only negative is its too far to walk to town but its only a 5 minute drive. There is a lovely wooded area within walking distance and you can walk to the beach in 20 minutes.

This is a fantastic little place. I stayed here with my husband and two teenage daughters in the family suite. It is truly beautiful, very tastefully decorated and so clean and cosy and welcoming. (I hope there are now has some new photos on the site, as it's painted cream and black - simple but very effective with a delightful patchwork bed in a small alcove.) The garden is a lovely place to unwind at the end of a hectic day. Maxine, the owner is great - a lovely lady. Her breakfasts are a dining experience. All freshly cooked, beautifully presented.....and unusual Even my non-breakfast eating younger daughter was impressed! If you need a great little haven in Q. Beach, then stay here. You won't be disappointed.

We are a young, married couple (26 & 35) who are very picky about aesthetics, food and customer service and were EXTREMELY impressed with the Blue Willow. It is under new ownership (a mother & daughter team) who have done a beautiful job re-decorating 3 Victorian-style rooms. We stayed in the Blue Room, which is actually yellow with a Robin's Egg Blue claw foot tub, pedestal sink and toilet. All the rooms are surrounded by a large & private GORGEOUS garden and are so peaceful and quiet. The bedding is fluffy and romantic; the decor very tasteful. And the food? Where should I start? 5 kinds of cereal, fresh fruit salad, bottomless, delicious coffee (we're from Vancouver, so we know good coffee), cheese scones that melt in your mouth and a hearty quiche/frittata yummy thing with some kind of filo crust. We must also mention that the owners were very accepting of our little dog, even looking after her (for a charge) while we attended a wedding. I don't know if they accept pets on a regular basis, but it's worth asking if your dog is well-behaved.

The Blue Willow is a perfect place to honeymoon, vacation with friends (they have a suite that sleeps 4 and another room with 2 double beds) or just take time away from a hectic life. If we were to go back again, we'd stay 2 or 3 nights instead of 1 and we'd spend our days going to the beach & markets, reading in the garden or lounge by the fireplace, taking naps & having bubble baths in that funky tub.

See if you can spot the airplane in the garden.

And oh ya, the price is right!!!!!!

My Husbund and I spend a couple of nights at this wonderful B&B where John and Arlene were our hosts and treated us just like kings for the day. The Guest House is located in Qualicum Beach and features a very beautiful garden for great relaxation or to sit and meet other guests from around the world. If you are looking to get a way from it all this is the place to go. We highly recommend it to any one. For more information go to their website. Thank you, Becky and Karl

Room Tip: 主楼我没有去住,我们一家住的是附楼,正好有三个连在一起的房间,够我们一家三口人用。建议如果是家庭去的话,一定选择附楼,独立性非常强。
