Eagle Landing was so relaxing. Jim and Anne were so much fun to hang out with. They were great hosts and very helpful. Where else can one check in and get offered a cold beer upon arrival. The loft above the garage was roomy and comfortable. The breakfasts were awesome. The view was amazing. We loved Lucy the resident dog. She was so laid back and friendly. I hope we can return some day.

A few kms out of Qualicum Beach is worth the drive for a B&B with a stunning, unobstructed view of the Strait and Coastal Mountains and Jim, Anne and Lucy (the dog) are perhaps the most welcoming proprietors along the coast. What is written on their website is how it really is, with a bit more hospitality thrown in.

This was our second stay in a year and Eagle Landing is still - and we're sure it will remain - remarkable. From the second "B" - the wonderful breakfasts - to the camaraderie and feeling of being somewhere that is like a second home, we felt so much more than just comfortable and cared for. We totally enjoyed all parts of our stay and will keep recommending Eagle Landing to friends. We enjoy the "B and B" experience often but Anne and Jim truly do take it to a new level.

Room Tip: Eagle Landing is a "B and B" - ask for the Loft. It has a sensational view of the Straits...

Eight years ago my parents visited a bed and breakfast on Vancouver Island that they came home raving about.
That B&B was Eagles Landing. It took us a while to visit Canada but we managed it this year and luckily there were vacancies at Eagles Landing for the dates we were on Vancouver Island.
We followed the directions sent to us by Jim and had no problem finding our way. On arrival we were greeted with tea and biscuits and one of the friendliest couples we have ever met ( and the best cup if tea we had over our 3 week stay in Canada.)
The setting is stunning and we feel would be hard to beat, the breakfasts were unbelievable, but what we were really surprised about was how Jim & Ann invited us to join them in an evening to chat and watch the sunset.
How kind of them to give up their time to socialise and share there knowledge of Canada. In short we can not fault Eagles Landing and all we can say if you get the chance to visit We're sure you will not be disappointed. Jim & Ann please continue doing what you do so well !!!!!!!!!!!!
Many thanks once again.

Our family stayed with Jim and Anne for the second summer in what will hopefully be an annual break, we had the loft room again and it was very comfortable for all four of us, and private as well. As before we loved the breakfasts which were different every day and always filled us up for the day ahead. We really felt at home here and enjoyed the walk down to the beach whenever we could, usually accompanied by Lucy the dog who is adored by the kids. The view from the main house is amazing and perfect to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Could not be better.

James and Anne made us feel so comfortable in their home. We are planning a return next month and can't wait to see our new friends and have some great conversations. Breakfasts are fabulous and they cater to any diet concerns you may have. Great spot to have a glass of wine (or two) on the back deck overlooking the sea after a busy day sightseeing. Looking forward to our return.

We spent two nights in June 2014 here and were impressed by the magnificent view from our room, the spacious accommodations and the friendly atmosphere. Anne and Jim were perfect hosts making us feel welcome in their home but ensuring that we had the privacy we value. We were able to take several easy day trips to surrounding attractions and spectacular beaches and return to have a picnic meal on our private deck. Just walking around the property with its fantastic trees and opportunities for bird watching would make this a five star experience. But there was so much more. We loved the panoramic view of the strait and being able to see Denman Island and watch the cruise ships passing at night. The breakfasts were incredible and we watched a bald eagle land in a nearby tree. Thanks to Lucy for leading us on a long walk in the woods.

Room Tip: We loved the room in the main house with the private deck and spectacular views.
