Excellent value. Got a great nights sleep. Clean and quiet room. Staff and service was exceptional. Good location. Several restaurants and pubs nearby to choose from. Breakfast was ok, the usual offerings.

This hotel seems to have been renovated and was clean. The problem though, is that the walls are paper thin and the doors in the hallway are super loud.

The hotel seems to cater to workers who wake up at 5:30 am and when the doors start slamming all down the hall, it makes for a very unrestful sleep.

The personnel were less than friendly. The girl who checked us in made no eye contact and talked like a robot. Maybe she thought that her face would crack if she attempted a smile so she made no attempt. The lady who stocked the breakfast looked like she would rather be anywhere else than where she was.

On the bright side, the rooms had plenty of easily accessible plugs and the location was good with restaurants, gas stations and a grocery store nearby.

I had a very positive experience here. Yes, driveway is a wee bit curvy, but not a huge obstacle. My room was huge, immaculate, to the back of the hotel, and all the while I was there I didn't hear a sound. And what a great bed, cozy! I slept with my window open... after cooling down the room with the unit in my room, so efficient! I also found plenty of chargers for my tablet, my laptop and my cell, and had still room for four more devices. Breakfast was exactly the same as in the others of the chain, waffles and toasted items and so on. Courteous check in, too. There are also picnic tables outside for the warmer summer months. Also, the next mall is 2 min down the road.

No available power plugs for charging a cell phone or using a laptop.
There was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom.
Heater is noisier then then any other I have heard, but it does drown out the fridge in the room.
There are hotels closer to the malls.
Advertized hot breakfast was something that looked like soggy scrambled eggs and micro sausages, barely a match for a MacDonalds breakfast mush.
Good thing..... It was cheap.....Slightly better then a hostel...

Room Tip: Drive a little further....

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to complete a review regarding your recent stay at our hotel.

On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologise for failing to exceed your expectations. Your satisfaction is important to us and I can assure you that we are taking all steps during our renovations phase to complete our guest rooms with any of the missing amenities.

Our new lamps that were installed end of May 2014 do include extra power outlets providing an easy access to plugs without having to move any of the furniture. The working desk installed in our single rooms includes extra power outlets as well as a USB charging port for all smart tools.

The room you had stayed has a new AC/heating unit that was installed last year. The new units offer the comfort of having climate control in the room. After your stay review we had the unit checked to make sure it is running to its optimal level.

We believe our buffet breakfast offers great choices and great value to all of our guests. In our complimentary buffet breakfast other than scrambled eggs and sausages, guest also have the option of fresh waffles (two flavours), cold & hot cereals, boiled eggs, white and whole wheat bread and bagels, muffins, Danish, fresh fruits, flavoured yogurt’s, morning juice’s, milk, coffee and Tea.

We really do appreciate your feedback. I can assure you that we will be using your feedback to make any improvements to ensure we offer an exceptional experience for our guests in the future.

I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience.

Sincerely,

Jasdeep Hayer

Although it's in a convenient location it does not have a user friendly driveway. The rooms are big enough but the whole time we were there the place had a musty smell. They don't have A\C so other than tiny windows the room didn't get much air. The staff was pleasent and the room cleaning staff did an excellent job. Don't bother with the breakfast because it was in a tiny room where they had crowded 3 or 4 tables in. When we stopped in to eat it wasn't very well stocked and the food did not look very appealing.

Room Tip: There are several good restaurants just north of the hotel.

I stayed here two days. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was OK and appreciated on a budget. My room was well maintained, clean and everything worked as expected. The location was close to downtown, with plenty to do in the area. There are some good hiking trails, parks and boardwalks close by. In summary, going back to Bathurst, I would choose the Comfort Inn again.

Room Tip: Ask for a drive up room on the back of the Inn.

First off, the lobby was being renovated so their lobby was a tiny room on the side of their building. Our room was on the second floor, there is no elevator and after a long day of driving, had to climb the stairs with our luggage. We walked into our room and were overcome by staleness and stench that seemed like smoke and dirt. No microwave or fridge and the bedding and furniture looked like it was from the 50's. Please take my advice and stay somewhere else. You'll thank me later!
