We had a wonderful stay at High Falls, and will definitely include these cabins on our itinerary the next time we pass through Wawa. The cabin was a great price, and it was so quiet and relaxing that our intention to wake up early and hit the road at sunrise was pushed aside to sit on a deck chair with a hot mug of coffee- a great way to start the day! The cabins were clean and showed pride of ownership, the beds were comfortable and the hosts made us feel welcome from the time we arrived to when we reluctantly pulled back onto the highway for the next leg of our road trip.

We stayed in a little cabin on our way through Wawa. We knew we would be stopping here along our road trip, so we called a few weeks in advance. Good this we did, because this place was full when we came down.

It's a really nice, quaint, small cabin located far enough away from the other cabins and Motel that we couldn't hear any noise but from the busy hwy 17. The trucks are loud...

My complaints are: The cabin had no air conditioning. Lucky for us, the weather wasn't too hot that day, and we could open the windows and turn on the fan with no issues.
The hot water tank is very small. Take a quick shower!!!
Wifi signal is weak if you're not situated close to the front office.

It was a very nice stay, and would recommend this to people travelling through.

Room Tip: Request a room situated as far away from the hwy as possible, but close enough to the front office i...

07/08/12 we were doing the circle tour on Motorcycles and this was one of our stops. This was a perfect place to stop black top parking, the owners even supplied a peice of wood for my sidestand. The only problem was we did not get there early enough to take advantage of the gounds. We will be going back just to enjoy. They have everything you need to fix a meal, so if traveling and tired of resturant food stopp in Wawa get a couple of steaks and use the grill's and eat a home cooked meal on the road.

Room Tip: Cabin 1 has the fireplace.

We chose High Falls Motel and Cabins because of the great reviews. And we're so happy to report that they are just what we hoped for: clean, comfortable, reasonably priced. Couldn't have been happier!

Room Tip: We prefer the cabins...they're quieter.

We stayed here for a recent overnight prior to a fly-out fishing trip. The owners are incredibly gracious and welcoming, the cabin was very nicely remodeled and exceptionally clean. We absolutely loved the grounds and cabin itself, but as we checked in the owner informed us that all five of us may not get a hot shower! We aren't prima donnas, luke warm showers would be ok , I mean we were flying into the bush for five days, but we got one luke warm shower and four ice baths. The heater hadn't recovered by the time we left the next morning either...8 hours later. Our outpost camp in the bush, 40 miles away from town, twenty from anything resembling a road, had hot showers on demand for as long as you wanted. The cabin was a bargain, but I would have loved to wash more than my hair.

I was there were more places like High Falls Motel and Cabins! Things we loved:

-The friendly and gracious owners who were not only extremely welcoming and accomodating but also gave us great advice on how to get the most out of our visit to Wawa.
-The cabin: very clean, comfortable beds, lots of nice touches that made it feel "homey".
-Being able to prepare our own meals - we found everything we needed (e.g., bbq utensils, a pot to cook corn-on-the-cob, a salad bowl).
-Excellent value!
-Edward the dog - he was very also very friendly!

Thanks for the wonderful stay!

This place was incredible! It is very obvious that the owners take a lot of pride in their establishment. When we arrived, Ania greeted up by name. She was very cheerful and struck up a conversation with us right away. She even took pictures of all of our motorcycles as they were parked out front of the office. The entire facility was very clean and well decorated. We stayed in the cabins, and they were unbelievable. I believe there was also a small unit just down from the cabins that were motel style rooms. The cabins were equipped with a flat screen TV and satellite. There was a small fridge, a stove, a sink as well as plates silverware, ect.

Ania pointed us in the right direction to find the beer store in town and also recommended a great restaurant that was just down the road. We would have never thought of going there without her suggestion.

There was a large gazebo with a fire pit in it that they allowed us to use. It was stocked with wood and ready to go. There were also two gas grills nearby that I assume they would let you use as well.

The only thing that I would say was a turn off was when we checked in, Ania said if we needed ice to come and see her. Because of this, when we went to town, we did not purchase any. When we went for ice her husband provided us with a small container of ice which was great. We had 6 people in our group, so when we made 6 drinks, that pretty much depleted the small container of ice. When my friend went back up for some more her husband rudely said, "what the hell are you doing with all the ice". Really? It was not a big deal so I rode to town and bought two bags of ice. I guess if you don't want people coming back for ice then don't offer to give it out.

The city of Wawa is only a couple of miles away. Compared to most towns we went through, it is quite large. There are a lot of restaurant options as well as various stores in case you need anything.

I would definitely consider this place biker friendly and would highly recommend staying here..........just bring your own ice.

Room Tip: We stayed in cabin 6. It had a king bed and a couch and was a bit bigger then the other two cabins...
