My husband, toddler and I recently stopped there for one night in one of their motel rooms. Mo greeted us with a smile and gave my little girl a toy whale. After a quick check in we walked into an extremely clean room. We had a great sleep. The beds were comfortable and it was not too noisy considering we were right next to the highway. The next morning we had our complimentary breakfast which was great and had everything you could want. We loved the little added touches in the room and got a kick out of the bathroom. Thanks for the great stay! I would definitely recommend this motel!

A bit dated, but all the personal touches more than make up for it. Nicest people ever! Nice breakfast. Easy to find and lots of activities around to visit. Wawa is a great destination and Northern lights is the place to stay.

We stayed there about 2 weeks ago. wife and 2 kids.
Very clean, everything you could want. Quiet even with highway near by.
Tons of hot water. Even a rubber duck.
Beds were very good. People that ran it were very pleasant.
Breakfast was good. Plenty to fill you up in the morning.

Room Tip: It is about 5 miles outside Wawa. Not directly in the town.

This is our first time to stay in a motel, but it is an amazing experience. The owner of this motel is very very nice. The room is clean, and lots of sweet and fun stuff that make you laugh and feel like home. The dinning room is also sweet.

I was so excited to write a review about this motel, because our stay here was beyond amazing! I booked well in advance, because I noticed that it filled up fast. Good thing I did! There was no vacancy last night :)

We stayed in the two-bedroom cottage because we wanted a bit more space, and a bit more privacy after our little ones went to bed. This cottage, let me tell you, was so cozy - I said to my husband multiple times that I could live in it permanently. The decor was cute and there were little trinkets and wall art that made the place seem so homey!

What a fantastic, cozy, and WARM place to lay your head for the night after a long day of driving.

What else made it so excellent too was perhaps that I love a country, heavily treed, somewhat isolated setting. But there's the town of Wawa a few minutes up the road, so that was convenient as well.

The beds, although double instead of queen, were comfy and suitable for us!

Also, quick and free wi-fi, and satellite TV if you're interested.

Breakfast was excellent. Fruit, toast, bagels, milk, juice, coffee, oatmeal, cereal, hard boiled eggs, and fresh baked muffins. We had the place to ourselves too! Really nice breakfast room.

We will be coming back here again, for sure! :)

Room Tip: I liked the two bedroom cabin!

Stopped here on our way to Thunder Bay. We loved it,The owners thought of everything. Our room even had a complimentary nail file, and a rubber duck in the tub.
Very clean and recently updated.

What an experience. After staying in motels and inns night after night, none of which were of high quality, this was the sun shining through the clouds after a rainstorm.

The room was fantastic. Comfortable beds, wall-mounted television, satellite tv, good wifi, kitchenette, very nice bathroom with double sink, and decor that just makes you smile. All of the comics, fact sheets, and decorations were amazing and funny, and made the road feel like home. The owners were fantastic people who were incredibly helpful. They recommended food and sights, and were clearly passionate about Wawa and their business. The breakfast was simple and delicious, and good for the price of the motel. It is conveniently located on the highway, rather than in Wawa, although we had difficult finding it. They told me they have been battling with Google Maps and GPS systems for years to fix the address, but no luck.

If you're travelling the area, pick this location. We can't wait to go back, and highly recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: Any room; all great!
