“Twice in one week!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2014

Haven't been out to Sooke for about ten years! Recommeneded spot to stop on the way to the beaches, and what a treasure! Cute and colourful decor, lots of places to sit inside and out, shade or sun. Very friendly and helpful staff. Locall artists represented on walls. Maps and area guide books available.
The food was delicious! Of course. Gooey pastries, gluten free, beautifully built sandwiches, amazing coffee.

“A great little spot outside of Sooke - don't miss it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 August 2014

I stopped in this little cafe for a late afternoon lunch and was immediately given a warm welcome from Phillip. The salted caramel latte, mulligatawny soup, focaccia bread, and gluten free chocolate and cranberry something for dessert was all spectacular. The atmosphere in the place was friendly and welcoming - it's immediately apparent that you're in a place that is going to delight you with high quality food and top notch service. The next time I'm in Sooke I will make a point of going a little outside of Sooke to return to this gem.

Delicious pastries and the cold brew rocked on a hot summer afternoon! I would highly recommend stopping as you drive by.

“Amazing food, amazing service, charming spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2014

The food was excellent. Our family of six had sandwiches, soup, treats and an amazing salted caramel latte. The gluten free and vegan choices would make it the perfect stop for anyone with special dietary needs. We happened across the restaurant as we were touring around looking for a sandy beach. The service was fantastic. Another washroom facility would be an asset and another picnic table or two but overall one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Sooke was to stop at Shirley Delicious.

“what a pleasant surprise...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

Worth the detour... Very small but in a charming decor and amazing food. All baked on site with local produce... super fresh and very tasty... Friendly staff as well... We also had the pleasant surprise of having the sunk'n city gypsies singing for us in the garden... That was another great surprise...
