We were out driving about today doing some site seeing and ended up here for lunch. At first we were a bit skeptical as it's a little out-of-the-way place but thought we'd give it a shot. After reviewing the menu, we ordered at the counter and sat down where we could overlook the waterfront while watching a variety of birds that visited the property.
Our food arrived in take out containers which for us is very unusual but we also thought it was brilliant and appreciated that they were environmentally friendly containers that could be either burned or recycled! Loved that!
We ordered the clams, the shrimp cocktail, the wilted romaine lettuce, shrimp cakes and a skewer of garlic prawns. Almost everything came with a nice salad of basic greens with lovely dressings and there was nothing left to take home between the two of us. The only regret we had was that we accidentally did not tip them and we really do feel bad about that as it was a fantastically healthy meal, served with pride and we left feeling full but not "stuffed".
If you're looking to experience real food with real flavor in acute little out-of-the-way place, you want to eat here as we feel it was priced very fairly for the amazing quality.
