Took my wife to Point no point for birthday dinner.
Booking was easy and the staff gave us a window table with awesome ocean views
Food was excellent and portions generous but not too big.

The dinner menu is shorter than the busy lunch but over three days we tried most of the appetizers and entrées. Organic leaves with strawberry vinaigrette included pea shoots. An unusual Caesar had a slice of crispy bacon; enough to fill a sandwich. Scallops were served with spicy creamed corn, chipotle ice cream and jalapeño shortbread, really. We enjoyed salmon (beets, fennel spatzle) and beef tenderloin (goat cheesecake and quince preserve). But the favourite was roast chicken, with a mountain of chanterelles, apricot/curry/cauliflower in phyllo. Servings are very generous so we never had room for dessert. Local wines are available at good prices by the generous glass and by the bottle. Service is friendly and polished. The view is impressive.

A word-of-mouth recommendation sent us here for a lunch. Interior was immaculate!: our waitress told us the management close the operation down for one month each year and re-paint, re-surface floors, spruce up.
Lunch chef has been on-site for 7 years. Dinner chef for 16 if I remember right. Limited menu, done to perfection!! Each serving was fantastic.
Each table in the restaurant has an excellent window view, down to a rugged west-coast cove: a pair of binoculars on each table! We watched sea-otters and birds that day, but others have sat watching dolphins, orcas, larger whales.
Staff asked if we had time to look over the resort that this restaurant is a part of, but we were unfortunately pressed for time.
This is a "do not miss" experience on Vancouver Island!

We were here for a lunch on a sunny spring day, sitting at a window seat and were wowed!
And oh yes, the food and service.......

We enjoyed a well priced lunch considering the location; the seafood chowder was better than average and the carrot cake was the best we have ever had, hands down! The lunch special was original and tasty.

Our young waitress was chatty and pleasant, rounding out a wonderful lunch experience. We really appreciated that the owners provided binoculars at each table; what a great idea; thank you.

We arrived early for our reservation on the advice of our B&B hostess and were able to tour their property, walking down to the rocky point and looking across the Strait of Juan de Fuca to the Olympic Mountains.

The food was delicious and very well presented. My wife had the marinated salmon and I had the Albacore Tuna. Both had wonderful flavours and the accompanying vegetables were perfectly cooked and presented. The portion sizes were large, and service was helpful and attentive.

One thing that could have been better was how the home grown green salad, with rhubarb and tarragon dressing was served. It was delicious. We asked before we ordered, if we could split one serving. We were told that we could, but it came to the table as one serving. We have been to many other very nice restaurants, where the 'splitting' is done in the kitchen and the presentation is the same to both guests.

While we were dining a couple of bald eagles rested in a tree by the point for us to observe.
