“Beautiful and very nice”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014 via mobile

This resort is very nice and beautiful, wildlife all around. Yes there are no elevators but are we really that lazy we can't walk the luggage up a couple flights of stairs and parking wasn't that bad. Our only downer was finding food at a grocery store priced reasonable in Radium, but if you go 10min down the road to Invermere problem solved. But that has nothing to do with the resort. Living in Alberta myself and my family have been to Jasper and Banff a bunch of times but after staying at Bighorn Meadows Resort we well not be going back to Banff or Jasper again. We will make this resort a yearly visit, it's very quiet and not over populated and again very beautiful. And who knows maybe one day buy into it.

The pictures on the web site looked lovely and our room was large, clean and comfortable but what they don't tell you is that there aren't any elevators so you have to lug your luggage up 2 or 3 flights. OK if you are 21 but not so great if you are older, have luggage or have knee problems ( like I did on this trip). When we asked for a change we were told " not possible" in spite of the fact that the vacancy sign was out. We reserved the room as " hotel" (not time share or weekly condo) and when staying at a hotel or motel housekeeping comes in every day to freshen your room, but not here. If we were here under time- share rules that would be ok but not when you think you are in a hotel that you paid $130.per night. Even the cheapest motels clean your room. Parking was a challenge too. Except for the middle of the day, you had to drive the complex several times before finding a spot. Also, who has to pay extra for AC in the room in this day and age? Here you do, and I thought that since we were in the mountains AC wouldn't be necessary. When we entered our room after check- in it was like a steam room. Stay in the Best Western or one of the other hotels when in Radium.

We stay three nights at this beautiful resort, right on Hole #9 of the Springs golf course - with Purcell mountains to the west. We were in a one bedroom second floor unit in the 600 building. Granite counter top through out. Furniture is nice, beds are very comfortable. Tons of linen and high end toiletries. The interior is spacious and very well constructed. Lots of room, washer, dryer included and well equipped kitchen typical of a Gold Crown resort in a timeshare unit in Florida or California. There's also a rocking chair in the living room. The patio looks out to a large pond with golfers fishing for their golf balls. The grass around the entire resort is lush, dark green and well maintained - such a joy just to watch the grass grow. There is a hot tub and swimming pool for all guests to use. There is also a propane BBQ on the patio which we did not use. My only complain is the lack of drapes in the bedrooms to darken things at night. The wooden blinds look nice but is not enough to keep out the sun light when you are trying to sleep in. Another minor irritant was the TV in the living room is too puny for the size of the room. If you love golf and there are plenty of courses within 30 minutes' drive come by and check out this Resort.

Room Tip: Second floor or above would be a good choice.

This was home away from home. The pictures on the site do not do the place justice. Stayed in the 600 block, 1 bedroom suite. What a fabulous view of the golf course and the mountains. The unit was clean and we'll maintained. Kitchen had the basics of what you would need. Loved our stay.

My boyfriend and I went out to Radium for two nights and it was more than we could have asked for!! The suite was beautiful, clean, well stocked, and quiet. I had seen a lot of complaints on here about how you can hear everything, since our trip was during the week of the shoulder season I think that helped as we only saw neighbours on one side of us and never heard a peep.
The only downsides to this place were the later then usual check in (no big deal since we were running late anyways), and early checkout (10am, left us a bit rushed in the morning and couldn't enjoy the balcony for just one last time). There is also no maid service without requesting it and you must take out your own trash and do the dishes before leaving. This was not a big deal at all for us but it would have been nice to be more aware of this sooner
Overall though the place was great! The jacuzzi tub, balcony with an AMAZING view, and closeness to everything in town as well as quick drive to Invermere made the whole trip so relaxing. I would definitely consider staying here again if the opportunity comes.

This is a lovely resort, right on a golf course with gorgeous mountains to the west. We were in a two-bedroom ground floor unit in the 600 building. Very nice furniture, comfy beds, lots of room, and probably the best-outfitted kitchen I've ever seen in a timeshare unit. There's even a rocking chair and a furry throw in the living room--comfort indeed! Our patio gave on a large lawn and was next to a pond with a pleasant fountain, looking out on snow-capped mountains. So nice to have our own gas BBQ on the patio. Very quiet (though the Trans-Canadian RR is not far away, and trains rumble by throughout the day). My only quibble is the lack of a shade or drapes in the bedrooms to darken things at night. The wooden blinds don't quite do the trick at keeping out the exterior lighting.

Room Tip: Building 600 is a good location, near the pond and golf course. Probably can't go wrong with an...
