Days Inn Levis St-Nicolas

This hotel has polite bilingual (English and French) check-in staff. We stayed on a busy Friday night and had no issues with checking in. One elevator is kind of slow but it isnt a huge hotel. We requested a quiet room and ended up on the 4th floor above the pool. So we were at the end of the hall from the elevators but next to a stairwell which came out right beside the pool. It was perfect for us. We did take a King Bed room. Bed was comfortable. They offer pillows of different firmness which is nice. Bed was a bit too firm for me but that is my preference. Exercise room is small but modern with 6-10 equipment machines. It faces the pool and you can see the pool through a glass window. Pool isnt huge but if you have small kids the kiddie pool area is perfect. Hot tub is nice and was clean with space for at least 10 people, Sauna was nice and spacious also... enough room for 8 people easy. Nothing broken. Maintenance was in and out of pool area to check on things at least 5 times (we spent 2 hours in the pool). It closed at 10pm and the last thing maintenance did was to cover the 3 huge birdcages found around the pool. Really nice. Breakfast is not included.
My two complaints are as follows: #1: about my stay is that for such a small little restaurant for breakfast and only a few patrons (2 other tables with 4 people each) sitting, the service was painfully slow. Only two waitresses and they do room service so one girl kept running off with food for rooms while the other was stuck spinning in circles. I had to wait over 10 minutes to ask for a glass of milk. The prices were decent, but the portions were not impressive. Again, this depends on your opinion.
Complaint #2: I am a deal hunter. I tried in vain to find a better price anywhere online and even when I showed up in person and could not even save 5$. I love deals. Again, this is just me.

Bear in mind you are near the highway. If you are trying to spend vacation time in Quebec City you are a bit far away. If you are passing through and continuing on this is the perfect location.

On the same side of the street as the hotel, next door, is a strip mall. You'll find a pharmacy, grocery store, fleurist shop, and at least three restaurants. the Thai place is good. Two grocery stores are visible from hotel. The highway is less than a kilometer away.
To summarize I have stayed at two L'Oiseliere hotels now since the first one I stayed at I fell in love with. If you can, stay at the L'Oiseliere in LEVIS. if you are a pool lover like me, and like ambiance. Ask for a room with a balcony over the pool. amazing. It is only 15 km away from this hotel!! Trust me it is worth the drive!!

Room Tip: The only ice machine is on the 2nd floor at the end of the hall. there is alot of traffic here. avoi...

It was good value for somebody that needs free parking. It is far from Vieux Quebec and you need to drive 20 min for the old city. The hotel was clean, quiet and the service quite good and staff friendly. There is a grocery store in 1/4 mile and a mini fridge in the room; you can have your own breakfast. However the food is quite amazing in Quebec; spend some $ in restaurants!

The excessive use of dark colors was giving it a distinct personality but not necessarily ideal; same note for the lack of carpet...  I'll probably stay there again

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. Receptionist Dasha was very pleasant and answered all my questions about hotel and how to get to Quebec City, gave us a map. Room has a small fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. If you have a GPS enter 423 Rue des Chutes, Saint-Nicolas, QC and you will find yourself in front of the entrance to the hotel. (GPS does not understand 555 Route 116, Saint-Nicolas, QC). Hotel's restaurant serves breakfast, Quiznos is close and there are two shops where we bought food.

Clean room but very small. Impossible to be two persons in the bathroom in the same time. Very nice pool, the best one. But the water was so cold, it's made the pool useless. Staff are nice and pilote. Lot of restaurants and services next to the hotel.

We really liked the place and its cleanliness...however they installed super-sized and overpowered Amana systems in each room and when the thing turns on (about every 5 minutes) you would think a 747 took off in the room.
Impossible to sleep with all that noise. Why such a system I will never understand!
It's automatic so you can't adjust the blower speed...it's so powerful that the the curtains fly almost horizontally when the unit blasts off.

My mother and I stayed here for one night while visiting family. Our first trouble was finfing the hotel. I entered the address in my GPS and it wasn't to be found. We finally found the hotel an hour later and when I mentioned this to the receptionist she said that the reason was that the street address is the front of the building and the civic address is the back, that's why it doesn't show up. She said they often get this complaint....perhaps they should mention this on their website? She then asked if we needed anything extra for the room. We requested 2 extra pillows ans some towels for the pool and we were then given them, right then and there. We carried them up to our room ourselves. The pillows were ok but the pool towels were small, worn and not so soft. The room was ok. No carpet, there was laminant florring which was different but ok. When I went into the bathroom, I saw hairs on the toilet seat...not the best impression. The beds were ok but I've had better in other places. Hotel itself is nice enough.
