For anyone who likes older houses with lots of character and antique furniture, this is a lovely place to stay. It has been beautifully restored. The verandah is a great place to sit and read, and the central location means that restaurants etc are within a very easy stroll.
The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is taken at the communal dining table, and my only slight negative that this did not quite make the top rating. After fresh fruit comes a cooked dish , and on our visit the eggs and ham were overcooked , dry and hard, and poorly presented. We stayed in quite a number of B&Bs throughout BC and Alberta, and had some wonderful breakfasts. The quality of the breakfast is really important.
