I stayed at Chateau Arnaud very soon after it opened in October 2013. The rooms are large and well furnished, with balconies that give "off to the side" water views. I was surprised that there was no fridge in the room. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there is a good seafood restaurant in another hotel approximately 100 metres North. Across the parking lot from the Chateau Arnaud there is a sports bar/restaurant called "Le Cage". The Chateau Arnaud is about 600 metres from the main street, where the shopping mall, offices, and restaurants are located. If you have a vehicle, the distance is no problem, but on foot, in the cold of a Quebec winter, it would be a long, cold walk.
