We stayed here for 9 days with our kids in February. In pretty much all respects it was the perfect base for a holiday in the Tremblant area and, in the scheme of things, was only very marginally (15 mins) further to travel from Montreal than Tremblant itself.
The house itself was spot on for our family - we stayed in No. 61 which is on a quieter ridge of the resort albeit still only a 3-4 minute walk from the clubhouse and the lake. Our house had views down to Lake Labelle in the distance and looks more secluded than many of the other houses. I think you can pay a little extra for a lakeside chalet but I am not sure it is worth paying extra to have people walk by your chalet and hear first hand all the fun of the lake.
The houses (which have I understand all been done to similar furnishing standard) are very well kitted out with good quality furnishings (including very comfy beds) and fittings and have loads of space. There was only 5 in our group but our house could comfortably have taken up to 12 and would be ideal for a family gathering - the study in the basement has been converted into an additional bedroom in addition to the usual 5 bedrooms - and there is loads of living space, including a decent sized basement with pool table. We spent more time in the resort than planned - the kids were just as happy ice-skating on the lake, swimming, snow shoe-ing and sledging (61 has a great drive for sledging down!) and playing in the snow covered area around the house as they were going to Tremblant (which quickly becomes a very expensive place to visit in comparison). The hot-tub was also well used.
So all in all, a resort that is worth considering if you are staying in the Tremblant region - you get much more for your money than staying in Tremblant, much more peace and seclusion if desired, and yet Tremblant is only 25 minutes away.
