“Melt-in-your mouth filet!”
Reviewed 19 January 2014

We stopped in because it was close to our hotel, looked quaint and had a nice menue. We were not disappointed! My husband and kids all had the filet and it was perfect! I had a Mahi dish that was fantastic. Very interesting sides too, I was too full for desert but everyone seemed pleased with their choices. You will pay, but it was a relaxing dinning experience, with a calm and tranquil atmosphere it is probably better for older children and adults.

“Excellent Food, High Price, Worth it”
Reviewed 15 January 2014 via mobile

Very nice cabin nestled in the woods, great ambiance and comfortable setting. Food was absolutely wonderful but you do pay a lot for it but in the end I felt the experience was worth the expense. We had the filet, lamb, and pizza. Filet was excellent and cooked to order, lamb was the best I have ever tasted, the pizza was excellent with a crispy crust that I loved. I recommend this restaurant as long as you can afford about 70 a person.

“Mostly great”
Reviewed 14 January 2014

We were here for Christmas dinner with the family. It's a beautiful rustic-looking cabin with soft lighting. The staff was helpful and charming. Almost all of what we ordered was outstanding, in the very best French tradition. Unfortunately, the vegetarian entree option was positively Not Good. Dry as a bone corn bread with too much tangy goat cheese and roasted tomatoes that didn't have enough juice to soften up the corn bread. We were terribly disappointed, especially since the appetizers had been to-die-for. I would go back but think twice about ordering the vegetarian entree.

“By far the best food of a 5 day trip”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

This was great french food. Service was efficient and good, but lacked personality, perhaps they were just tired after a long season. I would definitely go back for the food.

“High quality food for high price”
Reviewed 2 January 2014

French cuisine at its best but you pay for it! Soup of the day - best leak/potato we have ever had, two perfectly prepared beef and two fish dishes plus two glasses of "holiday special" champagne mixed with cider and two beers cost $220 + tip!
