“Nice Evening at LaPetite Cachee”
Reviewed 27 February 2014

My husband and I enjoyed the dining experience very much and we will return. Loved the cosy 'mountain chalet' atmosphere. The location is very convenient for those staying anywhere near the ski hill. The menu was limited but we both managed to find something to our liking. For the main course he had the daily fish special which was very tasty but at $34 for the plate that would be expected. I had the scallops which were excellent! Both of our salads were delicious, interesting and a step above the ordinary. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Overall, we would recommend this restaurant if you are staying in the area and want a break from the standard fare in the slope side village.

“charming and cozy”

The food was excellent. The service was friendly. The only small complaint was that there was only one vegetarian choice.

“Awesome food and service”
Reviewed 18 February 2014 via mobile

Was in for dinner Feb 17th and had amazing food and just as good service. Food was very well prepared and fresh. The restaurant was clean and had a great ambience with a wood burning fire place. Highly recommended.

“excellent restaurant and good value for a top notch restaturant”
Reviewed 12 February 2014

We stayed in the mount tremblant skiing resort for a week. We had hoped that in French Canada that the food in the resort would be good but we were very dissapointed. Anyway on our last night we decided to use trip advisor and found La Petite Cachee. It was about 20 minutes walk through a blizzard from the resort to the restaurant - but really well worth that adventure.
The food was excellent, a good choice and what we ordered was done perfectly, and not expenisive either. we had three courses with a bottle of wine and water and it came to €180 for the two of us.
The ambiance is great, very French and I'd recommend for a romantic meal for two or larger parties looking for a really special meal.

“Excellent food, quietly sophisticated setting but slightly lacking in atmosphere”
Reviewed 5 February 2014

I cannot fault the authenticity of the French food - onion soup, celeriac roulade both tasty, and as others have said, the lamb fillet (an unusual cut) was cooked perfectly, and you can't go wrong with chocolate mousse cake. The menu is short and features some interesting choices including rabbit and piglet heart, so this may not be the best place for vegetarians or non-dedicated carnivores! Wine list slightly disappointing (we tend to drink New World wines in preference to French and ended up with a decent bottle of Sangiovese as a compromise)! We arrived having walked from our hotel in the ski area - about 2 miles in the snow - and were not greeted at the door or shown where to hang our coats - very much do it yourself - so we didnt feel particularly well looked after. As one would expect in a typical French restaurant, the waitress wasn't overly chatty or friendly but was completely professional and explained how various dishes were prepared. Fairly expensive but you get what you pay for ...
