We traded a studio lock-off that we own at Marriott Vacation Club for a one bedroom at Club Intrawest, a good trade indeed.

First impressions were that this is not Marriott Vacation Club, as soon as we entered the villa we realized that high standards of Marriott are just not there. Once we got over that and Intrawest is not Marriott we began to enjoy all that this resort has to offer.

All the good stuff:

A great place for kids, with the games room, TV theater room, playground and other activities.

A golf course on the premises, beautiful bike paths, bbq's, outdoor swimming pools. two hot tubs, spa availability and daily newspapers.

Free shuttle service to the hill, a great asset. There are two fee parking lots at the hill but on weekends they fill up, so you are directed to the $!5 pay lot!

Pleasant bilingual staff, always ready to help.

The not so good stuff:

Those villas are downright tired and have a late 1990's aura. The bathroom was remodeled though and the king sized bed was comfy. The sofa bed was as hard as a rock. Upon entering the carpet in the vestibule was downright filthy, perhaps from the skiers arriving after a day on the hill. Perhaps another type of flooring would be better.
The kitchen looked pretty much the same as it did when we toured the resort back in the 90's.
Probably improvements are being planned and maybe other units have been remodeled, but not this one.

Despite an Interval trade we were not availed the same privileges as 'members' as they are referred to. No discount on golfing, and just like anyone else we had to pay to go to the beach. Since the weather was very inclement, we never did get to the beach.

There is an extra 3% tourist tax in the pedestrian village, so that brings the sales tax up to 18%. Shopping is not a cheap adventure here. Stores like Roots are expensive. Americans accustomed to deep discounts and 4% sales tax are in for a surprise.
Still no question the 'joie de vivre' ( love of life) permeates the entire area. There is no question you are in Quebec, and I observed that most of the folks on the hill are indeed Montrealers, as French and other languages other in the vast majority.

We stayed in a one bedroom unit for a few days in June. The living room was spacious and comfortable. The open concept kitchen provided the necessary amenities. The king-size bed was very comfortable and all areas were fresh and clean. We were happy to find that we could access the bike trails from our unit and there were several fine golf courses nearby. We really appreciated the helpful information provided by Reception.

We stayed at Club Intrawest.Tremblant for a week in a 2 bedroom unit. The apartment is nicely set up with a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, a Jacuzzi tub and washer/dryer. The second bedroom is set up like a studio apartment with a small kitchenette. Perfect for travelling with another couple or family members as the layout offers the privacy you would need. The beds are very comfortable and the unit very clean. The staff comes in mid week to clean. That is fine with us as we don't like people coming in daily. The resort offers an outdoor heated pool, hottub, indoor hot tub, sauna, guest lounge, game room, gym and trails. . The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They cannot do enough for you. They will make reservations for, look for restaurants if you are looking for something special. They really know the area. It is located across the street from Lake Tremblant and a very short drive to Resort Tremblant, a pedestrian village with tons of cute shops, cafe's, restaurants. We took the gondola up to the summit of Mount Tremblant and had lunch there. The view from the summit is spectacular.

I registered for a two-bedroom unit through Hilton Grand Vacations. The short description is that the unit is clean and comfortable, but not up to the standards as the properties that are managed directly by Hilton. Now for the details:

For the most part, the unit was clean and comfortable. The "two bedroom suite" is actually a studio and a one bedroom suite with a connecting door. The studio has a bed, bathroom and small kitchenette (fridge and microwave, but no stove), while the one-bedroom unit has a bedroom, soaking tub, living room/kitchen/dining room + bathroom with shower, pullout couch, washer/dryer. Both had firm, comfortable king-size beds. Each bedroom and the living room had a 30 inch flat panel TV, but there are few English-language stations. The kitchen is stocked with minimal cooking utilities, but you can request additional ones from the front desk. Most units overlook the golf course and the Tremblant ski slopes. All of the staff members were polite and accommodating.

The resort appeared to be an older one and its age is starting to show. The unit was clean and comfortable, but in need of some maintenance: the carpet is worn and has a few stains, the furniture is older and slightly worn, and the ceramic tile in the kitchen is cracked and chipped with slightly dirty grout. The outdoor furniture on the deck has peeling paint. None of this is serious enough that you should disregard this property for a future stay, but you should set your expectations lower than if you're staying at a Hilton GV or a Hyatt, where everything is the pinnacle of luxury.

In the summer, there are several tennis courts and golf courses to choose from. The outdoor pool is heated and the multi-use trail (a paved trail for walking, bike riding, and rollerblading) is very near. The village at the base of the ski resort is about a 15 minute walk away, but it's not well lit at night and there are no other restaurants within walking distance, so you’ll likely have to drive to go out to dinner. In the winter, the ski lifts are a short drive away (too far to walk with skis, boots, helmet and other gear). In both seasons, Mt Tremblant Park, 40 minutes away, is a good choice skiing, canoeing and XC skiing.

Our condo rental was impressive. The tasteful decor and cleanliness made our stay very enjoyable. The proximity to the ski hill was nice we were able to enjoy the sunrise over the hill in the mornings. The deer grazing on the grounds were a wonderful sight to see.

Great place to spend time as a family. Top amenities and quiet.
The units have a full kitchen and lots of living space. You can choose to eat in or go to one of the many restarants.
If you want to take part in the activities in the vilage, they provide a free shuttle.
The resort has barbecues but these arr only made available in late spring. This was probably our only issue as we like to barbacue year round.

Tremblant is known as a winter resort. It is also great in the Summer! Green, peaceful yet fun (plenty of activities to choose from in the area). The resort itself has everything one would need to have a great vacation!
