Sometimes I read with amusement others reviews of hotels. We thought this hotel was great. Nice suite with two comfy beds and comfy pillows. We made a nice dinner of salad since we were totally burned out on eating out from the rest of our trip. This isn't supplied like a home. It is supplied the best that they can figure the average person would have it. We could have used more bowls, but we made do. Our guests had to bring their own plates, but all was good. The location is great, service was wonderful at the front desk! Breakfast was, well, a free hotel breakfast. Plenty to pick from, so if you got something you didn't like, go get something else. parking below, easy easy. Wish we had spent more than one night. Great area. Kids loved the luge (as did we!). Front desk guy even came out and took some pictures of us and our friends for us!

This is one of the worse hotel experience we ever had! When we arrived the room was not ready by the check-in time. The front desk was indifferent and unapologetic and simply stated that there is nothing they can do. Room is small compares with other Residence Inns elsewhere. Bare minimal supply was supplied. We were three people yet only one set of shampoo etc was provided. Toaster was broken. Next morning there was no place to sit down for breakfast. Again the staffs were indifferent and unhelpful and we had to wait a while before able to sit down to eat. By the time we came back later that day the room was not cleaned and we have to go get clean towels by ourselves. We booked this hotel because Residence Inns has a good name but we are totally disappointed.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments regarding your stay with us. I am so sorry that your stay involved certain displeasures. Your Feedback will most definitely be shared with our team. I understand your frustration in not having a room ready the moment you arrived at the hotel.
The reality is that many of our guest want to take full advantage of their departure day and sometimes do not leave prior to noon, therefore not allowing us to have many rooms ready prior to 4pm. I apologise that your room was not cleaned when you returned back from your day. Housekeeping service is also provided every day until 5pm, and housekeeping may have not yet serviced your room when you returned back to the hotel. We were sorry to hear your comments regarding breakfast. The breakfast room can experience heavier traffic towards the end of breakfast hours, especially on days when guests decide to all come towards the last 15 minutes of breakfast. I apologise that you were not able to find seating. When this occurs our breakfast team does accommodate guest with breakfast trays allowing guests to bring breakfast items back to their room.

Once again I apologise that we were not able to exceed your expectations and hope that we may have the privilege as well as the opportunity of making it up to you on a future visit to Mont-Tremblant.

I recently spent 3 nights at the Mont Tremblant Residence inn for an Ironman training camp weekend. The hotel staff was so accommodating of our group and had no issue with us bringing our bikes in and out of the hotel and storing them in our rooms when we weren't out riding.
I had booked a studio room and given my past experiences with other Residence Inns I had expected a full kitchen with a stove. What constituted the "kitchen" was a kitchenette with a microwave, sink, mini fridge, toaster, coffee maker, dishes and utensils. I had planned on preparing some of my own meals but that didn't completely work out. Make sure you confirm what your "kitchen" has before staying here so you can plan meals accordingly. That being said, it all worked out well for me. The breakfast buffet was ample, there was plenty of coffee, and the service overall was excellent.

We have just returned from an 8 day stay at The Residence Inn Marriott, Mont Tremblant. Our first impressions of this hotel were excellent and it only got better! We were greeted by a spotlessly clean and beautiful lobby and the wonderful Dominique, who could not do more to help. The check in was fast and efficient with every thing just as we expected.We were then shown to our suit and we continued to be impressed. You could not ask for a better or more appointed suit with everything you would ever need. Our room was spotlessly clean and in very good condition with no signs of wear and tear. The hotel offers a full buffet breakfast which catered for everyone from a full English to Fruit, pastries, waffles, and so much more! I would definitely recommend this hotel as you will receive 5* service every time. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Do not accept a room on the fourth floor of this hotel. Room 412 to be specific.

We had to haul our luggage to the far end of the third floor the up a narrow winding staircase to get to our room on the fourth floor.

This room, although a larger suite, does not have a full kitchen, though we booked a room that did - only a bar fridge, microwave and toaster. It is outdated, dingy, and dark since it is located under the eaves of the roof and the windows are small.

Given the other reviews of this hotel, I can only assume that rooms on the other floors are quite nice. The room photos on the hotel website look very nice. Our room did not look like this.

Fortunately we were only there for one night. Based on this experience I won't stay at this Marriott again.

Definitely not up to Marriott standards.

We apologise that we did not meet your expectations in regards to room type selected. Our one bedroom suites located on the 4th floor do in fact provide some advantages and disadvantages. Although their location is a little more difficult to get to due to the interior staircase located on the 3rd floor, the suite is more spacious than many of our suites and its secluded environment provides for a very quiet environment. As mentioned in your comments we do provide a variety of room types and truly hope you give us the opportunity to accommodate you in a different suite or location.

We recently went for a weekend in Tremblant and I chose the Marriott because I really wanted a suite with a balcony and that was also centrally located. This hotel is not a 5 star, but with employees - such as Maude at the front desk - you would not know. Our room was great and except for the loud air conditioning unit in the bedroom (easily remedied by shutting it off) all was perfect. The free breakfast is pretty great too... Anything you could possibly want - they had! (Made the hiking and cycling kind of a requirement afterwards!) But again, it was Maude who really made this hotel a stand-out in my opinion.

Stayed 70.3 ironman weekend June 2014. Very satisfied with our stay over-all. Hotel was busy and understandably so. Room was big and clean. Breakfast buffet was great with a lot of choices so you are not eating the same thing day in day out. Staff was friendly and professional. Since my husband was doing the 70.3 ironman, we asked if we could check out late -- given 2PM which was just right. Housekeeping actually knocked on our door just before 2PM and we were already loading the luggage carts on our way out. Cars were not allowed out (roads still closed due to event) until 3PM so we hung out at the lobby until then. Despite this inconvenience, the location is at the center of the pedestrian village -- so close to everything.

Upon check in, front desk staff said we should've booked directly with Marriott instead of the other website -- we used priceline -- because Marriott has a matching the best rate program. What Marriott doesn't grant is a cancellation policy that priceline has -- 24 hours before check in date. Marriott's deadline is a month before check in date for such events.
