My wife and I were not happy staying here.. Room 10 stuck every time we went back to room it would be nauseous ,carpet was probably 20 years old and bathroom was in poor condition.. My wife found a bunch of hair in the shower drain after that we only took showers at Scandinavian spa and water in sink went down the drain very slowly . It does have a very nice balcony with very nice view of lake however I would not stay here again.. Oh one last thing.. the WiFi signal is soo weak that don't even count on using it in the room.

Room Tip: avoid room 10 at all costs.

At 179$ a night for 2 adults and one child,we thought the ''included''breakfast would be excellent, the Auberge IS conected to the Restaurant that makes these so called breakfasts. It was 2 bowls of warm yogurt old fruit salad and some dry bread ,to be toasted in an old toaster that had to be ''coacsed''into working!!!The Deluxe room was kinda old and dirty ,the deluxe only means a fake fireplace and a mini-MINI fridge that's it .ONE double sized bed and a pull out coat ,super uncomfortable! We had been there a few times before and when we complaned to the lady at the front desk, she was not into helping at all and was extremely un-professionnal!!I work with the public and our moto is to satisy our customers at all cost this woman was super defensive and not pleasant at all even after we let her know that it would be our last time staying there!!

Time to update my review since I want 2 years ago. The Inn is still same quality: simplicity, quietness and excellent location by the lake and cycle path (both next door). The owners upgraded the rooms by a splash of bright colours, new modern furniture in the room and flat screen tv. Large balcony for each room overlooking lake. Note there is a small public beach right across. Motel is next door to a small art gallery and a short walking distance to 3-4 restaurants. This is the ideal location for older people or couples who want to visit the region without staying in the "busy" Mont Tremblant Village (which is a 5 minute drive).

Superior room was huge - very comfortable and with lovely lake view from balcony. Nice pool out front. Bike trail right beside property. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Excellent meal at on-site restaurant and another at partner restaurant down the street. Only 4 km from the "busy/touristy" part, but staying here in the "village" is recommended. Golf a couple of km away.

Room Tip: Superior rooms are large and closer to lake and pool with large balcony

Stayed in this hotel for two nights in June 2014. The view from room 7 was amazing as it overlooked Lac Mercier! The room had two comfortable beds and an en suite with a bathtub and shower. The shower head was not working properly though. The room could do with the addition of a mini fridge.

The area around the hotel has some wonderful walks and quite a few nice restaurants to dine in. We can definitely recommend Restaurant Lorraine! The hotel's on site restaurant was lacking a decent selection of food at breakfast time.

All in all, a good hotel in a beautiful village. It seemed much quieter here than in the resort. I would recommend a stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the upper floor.

We recently stayed for 2 nights in an 'executive room' number 103. The room had beautiful views over Lake Mercier and the garden. One or two problems with our room. A pillowcase on the bed was stained and had a hair on. Also there was beer spilled on the coffee tray on which clean cups had been placed. The TV cabinet had pieces gouged out of it (it looked as if an animal had chewed along the edge. It is for this lack of attention to detail that we have slightly marked down the hotel. On the positive side the room well equipped and comfortable. We had the 2 day getaway package which included dinner. On the website at the time we booked it stated 'gourmet dinner'. There was also an example of a typical 4 course dinner, However, though the food was good, it was more Belgian cafe than Gourmet (we know we lived in Brussels for 5 years). The menu had an extensive choice of moules/frites! An allowance of 67 Canadian dollars per couple per meal was given in the restaurant, so not what we were led to believe at the time of booking. This was not apparent on the website. The tables were not set correctly (a knife and fork rolled up in a serviette), no side plate and no separate knife to butter bread. The tablecloth was covered, with not very elegant paper which had a slight grey hue, more what one would expect in a cafe than a hotel restaurant. Again lack of attention to detail. The food was beautifully cooked and tasted good, but not the experience we expected from the website. Also the restaurant catered for my gluten allergy and tasted delicious. The waiting staff were very friendly and gave good service. Would we stay again? Would we recommend it? MOST DEFINITELY , but would advise the owners to give more attention to detail, check out the bedrooms and up date the website!

Room Tip: Ground floor executive in the annex. The rooms have small veranda with direct access to the garden...

Stayed here in 2011 when cycling the P’tit Train du Nord the first time. This time we upgraded to the rooms in the separate building and were able to put our bikes in our room, although they do have a separate storage area for them in the main building. Room was spacious, clean with mini-fridge. Ground level had patio doors onto lawn and pool. Included breakfast was an extended continental and was fine. Restaurant wasn’t open for dinner for some reason so ate next door at the Hotel Mont Tremblant restaurant which was a great meal. Would have no difficulty in recommending this place.
