“Impressed!”
Reviewed 20 February 2013

I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We have stayed in Tremblant before and this one is our favorite!

Firstly, traveling with a baby is not easy, but this hotel was very accommodating to us. They have a large lounge area and a little kiddy corner (I do say LITTLE), for kids to play. Other hotels didn't have a lounge, let alone one with a television.

When we arrived around 2pm our room was ready right away even though the hotel was very busy. Leah greeted us at the front desk and was very helpful and kind. This meant a lot because my husband could get some runs in and I didn't have to wait in a public area with the baby (even though there was a nice one available). There is also a cafe right inside the hotel and a pool and sauna as well.

The view from our room was very beautiful! The room was clean (no dirty dishes that I have seen in other hotels). There was a bed and a pull out couch, so if you want to watch tv in bed you can pull out the couch, otherwise you can't see the screen from the bed. The water pressure in the shower is good, we all know this is a must!

The only downside would probably be the long trek up the hill in order to get to our favorite restaurant - Bull's Eye - for a steak dinner. But the night walk is a treat anyway.

All in all a good experience, we will be back.

Room Tip: Get one with the Village view!! Room 221 was great!

This hotel is conveniently located in the village which allows you to get dressed for skiing in your room and get up to the main lifts with ease. The basement parking is also very convenient and made moving luggage and equipment to and from the car a breeze. Ski/snowboard gear is stored in a main floor locker room which exits outside next to the mini gondola that transfers you up to the lift area.

Our room was on the first floor and overlooked the chapel/skating rink which was a bonus. The room was nothing special but was spacious and had a mini-fridge and microwave which comes in handy especially for longer stays or if you have kids with you. Things were looking a little warn in the room and the towels were the oldest/thinnest I have seen in ages. The place was clean, however, and that's more important that many other factors.

Ominously, when checking out on the Friday morning, we were met by two (maybe three) buses of university kids moving in for the weekend. Bedlam was setting in already and we would not have wanted to be there later in the day/night. Others have commented on the hordes of young folk in the hotel and the resulting high noise levels so you my wish to plan your stay to avoid the various holiday/school break periods if that's going to bother you. Otherwise, the hotel is perfectly fine for a ski getaway. The price was right for a mid-week stay and we would return again.

Our recent experience at La Tour des Voyageurs (Les Suites Tremblant by Intrawest) will not be remembered as a "value proposition"! We brought back bedbugs in our home and as a result the total cost for this one night at this hotel ended up with an extermination cost of $3000!!!
The issue was submitted to the manager of the hotel and escalated to the director-Hotel Operations-Station Mont Tremblant Intrawest. I would not consider the discussion as a great moment of cooperation.
My only advise to any traveller to this hotel would be to take extra measures when packing and unpacking your luggages at this place.

It had a nice kitchen and living space. The hot tub was hot and outdoors. The staff were excellent. It is close to everything you need at Mont Tremblant. We did not pay for the stay because we used air miles rewards so I don't know what the prices are but I probably wouldn't pay it ;) I did wake up during the night from people loudly talking in the halls. The walls aren't sound proof.

My wife and I and my son and daughter-in-law spent four nights at this hotel. We picked the hotel because of its location. I read some of the reviews on TripAdvisor and had some concerns; that was until we arrived. The staff were courteous and helpful; our suite was great (2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, dining/living room and ground level patio; parking was reasonable; and the location was fantastic. Some of the reviews on TripAdvisor must have been written by whiners or super picky types who travel little. We loved this hotel and will return.

Room Tip: Ground floor suites are quiet and have convenient exits.

Returned for a second stay - this time for skiing.

Loved the ski in/out and the great ski storage areas. Location is perfect, one of the least expensive spots to live in the village, full room amenities with fridge, microwave and small stove.

Again, we were with another family and, even though we had warned them, they booked a room with a drop down Queen bed. They had very bad nights with springs popping out from the bed. Make sure you get real beds and not drop down or pull-outs.

As far as hallway noise during the night, guess what, if you pay $350.00 per night you will still get rich kids partying in the hall so may as well pay as least as possible.

Gotta love Tremblant .................................

Enjoy.

A friend and I, stayed at this hotel for three nights mid week during late January. The room slept six and was booked through Tremblant's "last minute deal" specials. It was very reasonably priced for Tremblant village in January. It had two Queen Beds, a sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen and large bathroom. When we arrived, the desk clerk greeted us warmly, was very pleasant, was helpful and our check-in went smoothly. The hotel has underground parking for a fee. There is a fee for Wi Fi.There is a fitness room and an outdoor heated whirlpool. Our room was located on the ground floor level. It was neat, clean and tidy when we arrived. We were advised during booking that our room's fireplace would not be working due to maintenance upgrades. The beds where comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The paint colours of the room and hallways where dark which made them appear a bit dull and tired looking. The hotel was not very busy during our stay. We were not bothered by loud noises while sleeping. I will comment that it is easy to hear sounds when people walk down the hall or close a door near your room. If there was loud partying nearby, you would easily hear it.The hotel does not have a restaurant on site but there are many eating and night life options to choose from within close walking distance. A definite plus for this hotel is that they have a side entrance/exit door that is only steps way from the smaller Capriot Gondola that takes you to Tremblant's main mountain Gondola. As we did not have any bad experiences while staying here, I would recommend it to others looking for a cheaper, conveniently located hotel in Mount Tremblant's pedestrian village area.
