Juddhaven Guest House

If you are looking for an old world Muskoka experience then Juddhaven is a must stay. Your hosts are Ken and Marilyn Judd. This home has been in their family since it was fist built by their ancestors in the late 1800's. It has been lovingly restored in the old world style with many antiques kept within the family over all these years. The property has access to one of the most beautiful and secluded areas of Lake Rossuau. We often go on long walks in nature and drive by car to visit the towns of Port Sandfield, Port Carling and the town of Rosseau. Dinner options are right down the road. We love the casual outdoor restaurant called Dukes, the burgers are the best we've had in years! There is a new bakery called Abbey's next for in the cove where we pick up a lunch to
go. Finally the breakfast you will receive prepared and served by Ken and Marilyn is simply delicious with an endless cup of coffee . You are sure to have interesting conversations or just a quiet breakfast overlooking over the lake. Many times we have seen deer first thing in the morning eating apples from the trees on the property. Before settling into bed at night we always see a spectacular show of stars in the night sky!

Room Tip: We have stayed in all the rooms and have enjoyed each. Look at the pictures and see which one suits...

If you're looking for old Muskoka this place is it! We have going to every year since 2003. Juddhaven is nestled on three acres of land, overlooking a quiet bay on Lake Rosseau. It is a living museum, and has remained in the Judd family since it was built in1875. The present owners, Ken and Marilyn Judd, inherited it from Audrey Judd and have operated it as a seasonal Bed and Breakfast since 2003. Marilyn breakfast is to die for, especially her baking. Ken attention to detail is unbelievable, he is always looking to make your stay better. They have a canoe which is great for the quite bay, and the sandy bottom of the bay is prefect for swimming with kids. We just love it!
