this was the perfect spot for our honeymoon. the rooms although small were clean, and all we needed, the staff was super friendly . just a few minutes from lunenburg, it was nice and quiet around the campfire every night. we stayed there july 13th and we will go every year from now on.

We stayed for 5 nights in an appartment with kitchen unit. We loved the location, closeby yet calm; great views, good outdoor accomodation for our son to play.
Inside there is need of refurnishing and some restorations are in order. The beds were ok and it was clean upon arrival. Kitchenequipement was ok.
The owners were friendly and helpfull.

we travel a lot and are really low maintenance, we travelled the east coast with our 2 kids, ages 15 and 12 in July. This was our second to last hotel we stayed at and I was less then impressed.
There were little toiletries, it was not clean the TV was 12 inch and shoved in a corner of the kitchen, all of which I could have got over had I had a good nights sleep, however the bed was so uncomfortable I didn't sleep at all. The owners were friendly and my kids loved the animals, however given the choice I would not stay here again, worst sleep at a hotel ever. The cost of this place was too high for what was offered or not offered, like a comfortable mattress.

Room Tip: would not recommend

First we were sent to the wrong cabin, we booked a motel room. The view wasn't much because you had to park your car in the eye view of the beach, the beach was very rocky and could not access it at all without danger, the bathroom door and bedroom door was extremely old fashioned with it being a sliding OLD door that if slid back too far would get stuck in door frame. Had owner come and fix it once. These doors would not close enough to lock for privacy. Loveseat was very dirty. Outside light was blown and so was a light inside above stove. Lady owner was rude to a point. Man owner was very nice. Sent a check for the 240.00 for the 2 nights and was not informed on the phone that the taxes were extra so when we arrived we had to pay an extra 36.00. Not impressed and will not go back.Too expensive for what there was. promising beautiful scenery but couldn't see anything because of the parking.

Room Tip: Don't stay here if you are expecting to see anything.....Visitors were nice!

The views of the water from both the front and back are lovely. Friendly owners, good location and a few outdoor animals for the kiddies made this place a great spot for exploring the south shore. Not on the main strip, but easy walking distance.

Room Tip: Housekeeping rooms 1 and 9 are end units (thin walls elsewhere).

No hairdryer, no shampoo nor other personal items usually offered.
Registers were rusted. Grout on shower tiles was moldy. You sank into the sofa bed/couch.
TV was in kitchen sofa bed area and was about 14".
We would never stay here again.
We have travelled around the world and this was the worst motel we have had in decades.

Wonderful view from any room; very clean, cozy, and quiet place; very welcoming owner; 1 min from sandy beach. perfect location, 10-15 min walking distance from old port. Loved everything and hoping to come back next year.

Room Tip: Any room is good.
