“What a nice stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2013

We where at the Pelham House for 5 days and everything was perfect including nice Faye and her pets, spécialy Drum, he ate all the watermelon that we left in the plate at breakfast... So, we strongly recommend the Pelham House for all its charm and memorable welcome. Faye Thank you very much for the great times!

Thank again... Alain et Chantal, St-Jérôme - Québec

Room Tip: That B&B is very close to the main places of Lunenburg, 5 minutes walking distence.

I stayed for 3 nights at Pelham House in August. The room was spacious, comfortable, and relaxing. I was particularly pleased that it came with frequent visits from a cuddly friend.....Ben the cat, who enjoyed relaxing and reading at the end of a busy day of touring almost as much as I did! Faye is a wonderful host and generous with her knowledge and experience. I felt very much at home. I would get up each morning, wander downstairs for my first cup of coffee, and start the day sitting on the deck enjoying the views before a hearty breakfast that set me up for the day. The location was also great for seeing all of Lunenburg on foot....from the historic district, to the farmers market, and all the great restaurants and galleries. Thanks Faye!! I will be back!!

Room Tip: Room #1 is a great choice for friends travelling together - lots of space for all you stuff, for sit...

Faye is such a great hostess. Love her pets. Plenty of parking and a easy walk to the downtown area of Lunenburg. My room was decorated in sort of western style. Very comfortable. Slept really well. Has great wifi which is one of my priorities. Only stayed one night wish my plans would have included more nights at the Pelham House. Had a lovely breakfast more than I normally eat. The only thing wrong with my stay was it was too short and that was my own fault.

Room Tip: All the rooms look great

Our friend and my 18 year old daughter and I just spent a very lovely week with Faye and her gentle & amiable furry friends, while we attended the Boxwood music festival in Lunenberg. We were treated to delicious breakfasts every morning that accommodated our gluten-free needs & kept us going long into our enjoyable and busy days. Faye is indeed a wonderful hostess, and feels like a dear long-time friend. Our rooms were very comfortable, with ample space for us to spread out, and we appreciated having such a well-located "home base". Thank you Faye!! Looking forward to seeing you again!

I apologize, Faye, that I have taken so long to share with others the wonderful time our family experienced while staying with you early this summer. We are animal lovers, and Faye's caste of characters provided us with much enjoyment during our stay. The large "family" room is perfect, even for those traveling with older children, because the rooms are so large and airy (as is the bath).

We virtually never spend time in the living room of a bed and breakfast (and we stay in many), but we found ourselves in Faye's living room quite often because she was so inviting, as were her friends.

We really felt as if we were staying with family or an old friend while we were with Faye. She was very helpful in providing us with any sort of information about the area, even going out of the way to provide us with her own map of nearby beaches. Her conversation and breakfasts were lovely, as is her home.

We thought her location was just perfect, as we were near the water and had the most lovely local grocer just out her back door, too.

We hope that all goes well for you in future, Faye!

Room Tip: "Family" room is quite ample for a family of four, even with older children!

Faye is a wonderful hostess. We felt welcome from the first moment. Pelham House is a lovely place with large, comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Our room was on the first floor and had a private deck. The location is perfect for walking down to the harbour, shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the greetings and attention from Faye's pets. Breakfast was quite good and Faye gave us good recommendations for activities and restaurants each morning.
We had been travelling for several days and were happy to be able to have laundry done while we enjoyed the town.

Stayed only one night.. but wished we stayed longer. Town and area are wonderful and the B&B is very conveniently located to all the restaurants and shops. Room was very spacious and nicely decorated. We didnt get to have breakfast as we left early but we had such a good rest after a long day driving. The pets were such a lovely addition and we really enjoyed their company. The lady inn keeper was super nice and made some great dinner recommendations! Will try our best to come back for a return stay!
