We spent two nights here in a spacious room with a water view. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was updated and large. There is a free continental breakfast in the morning but it is pretty lame. There is an elevator to get luggage up to the room so that was appreciated along with free parking. Staff was helpful. Weather was not so great so it was nice to have a comfortable room to spend time in.

This is a very nice inn in a great location. It is in an old building, but the decore is clean and modern. The parking is free and directly across the street, so bringing luggage in and out was a snap. We paid extra for the queen room with city view, so our room was large and had a really nice bathroom. Since we were out until after dark, it really did not matter not to have the harbor view. We had a wonderful dinner at the hotel restaurant, so we were disappointed by the sad complementary breakfast offered there in the morning. It was the only negative in an otherwise very good experience.

Very nice hotel. Clean room and comfortable bed. The room was definitely on the small side which worked fine for us, however it may not be suitable for everyone. The location is good, be sure to ask for a harbor view if this is important for your stay. Our view was the building next to us. We didn't visit the restaurant, I can't comment on the food. However, the breakfast looked good :) My only complaint with the hotel was noise. The doors are extremely loud, easily to slam. We were woken up a couple of times as other guests were returning for the night, speaking loudly and slamming doors. Overall, great place to stay, I would return.

Hotel selected for our Backroads bicycling trip and we were very impressed. Located in the center of a quaint town. We had a beautiful room with a view of the water and the rolling hills in the background. Nice sitting area in our room.

Room Tip: Higher level room overlooking the water with sitting area.

Wonderful hospitality, great view of the bay, hotel located in the middle of the city and can walk to everything in town.... Such a sweet town to stay in and learn about a fishery town!!! I would definitely stay in this hotel again when I'm Lunenburg again

Room Tip: Top floor facing the bay has the best view in town. The room is enormous with a king size bed, sitti...

This hotel is centrally located with adequate parking, restaurant and spa. It has lovely amenities but somehow manages to feel more like a run-of-the-mill motel. The town has such wonderful character and history and so it was disappointing not to see this reflected in such a prominent Hotel. I do wish that town planners look beyond revenue when approving development.

We stayed in the nicest room offered but discovered the view was meager. The view was blocked by buildings between the Hotel and the waterfront. All of these buildings felt a little creepy given that they have good access to seeing into the Hotel rooms - despite the fact that all the windows are covered and the buildings appear to be abandoned.

We stayed in the largest room available but felt that the room was cramped. It felt like they designed this hotel on the basis of squeezing another room or two into the layout and imposing another structure on the already crowded waterfront.

I understand that this is not a hotel offering valet service or help with our luggage. I was surprised, however, to not find any kitchen staff when I went for their boring buffet breakfast. It was a depressing space that I decided to avoid and decided to take some food back to the room.

The spa is nice, so nice that even locals use it - unlike the rest of the facility.

Room Tip: A travel tip - if you are a light sleeper and if it is a foggy night then stay away from this hotel...

My wife & I arrived on a Sunday for a two night stay & was disappointed to be given a small room with a small bed overlooking Pelham Street. The restaurant was closed during our stay. Parking was across Pelham Street so at least we could keep an eye on our auto!! The hotel was not busy & thought we might have been offered an upgrade. As a matter of interest our next stop was a small motel near Sheet Harbour overlooking the ocean and at half the price & much more comfortable.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a room facing the harbour
