We stayed at Greybeards for two nights recently and had a wonderful time. The breakfasts were amazing (stuffed French toast one morning and spinach squares with lobster sauce the next). Each morning you were presented with a quick bread at your table and whatever you didn't finish, they packed it up for you to take with you as a snack during the day. You started your meal with a fun fruit plate. The rooms were nicely decorated. Anything you don't find you only need to ask! And the location was perfect to walk to everything in town. Then to top it off the price was excellent. Thanks Bob and Rosanna for a wonderful stay!

Bob & Roseanna were wonderful hosts, cooks and present a well-kept B&B without overcharging on the rooms. We were delighted with the food, the coffee was special, they accommodated my mom's vegan, no-dairy & gluten intolerant impossible diet graciously, the food is definitely over and above most B&B's we've stayed in.
The house has a wonderful captain's history, the rooms are sparkling clean and have been decorated carefully, respecting the heritage of the home and the beds are comfortable. The location of the B&B is central without being in a noisy spot. Our queen bedroom had all the amenities including free internet and even included a prized radio from the second world war that's still in working order. I am pleased that we stayed here, we felt well cared for and without having to break the piggy bank. Thank you Bob & Roseanne! http://www.greybeards.ca/

Lunenburg is a true treasure as a World Heritage site, somehow having never gotten popular and rich enough that the houses were reconstructed, nor poor enough that the houses fell to ruin. Instead many have been loving restored including the Lunenburg "bump" (make the trip to learn more about this unique architectural feature).

Bob and Rosanna have restored this home as a comfortable inn on the edge of the historic district. The rooms are unique and comfort and reasonably priced. The hosts are generous with their time and knowledge of the local offerings. Their suggestion of the Magnolia for dinner was spot on (try to the amazing Lobster Linquine!). Not to mention the best breakfast on the trip - cheese and spinach loaf with lobster sauce.

My mother & I were only suppose to spend one night in Lunenburg, but upon arrival at the village and our B & B (Greybeard's) we decided to change our itinerary and begged to stay another night with them. The village & Greybeard's are historic landmarks. We enjoyed staying with Bob and Roseanna who were both very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very nice and roomy and we had a private bath (shower/toilet) as well as a sink and mirror in our room. We had a little problem with the two twin beds but that's probably because we are big girls, so you may wish to consider a room with a larger bed if you suffer from the same affliction. And then there was breakfast! Bob has the makings of a gourmet chef and Roseanna is the baker of the house. Breakfast both days was wonderful and not your standard B&B offerings. How about a spinich and cheese loaf with lobster bisque sauce and fresh baked bread? Delicious! I would definately like to take a trip back and would recommend them to others!

We had a great time at Greybeard's. Room was spacious and nice (renovated 19th century). Our hosts were wonderful and most helpful. Location is quiet and convenient - about a 3-minute walk to the center of town. Breakfasts were tasty, done with a personal touch, and different each day.
