We were able to eat here for both dinner (our wedding dinner) and for three breakfasts. The service definitely goes up a notch for the dinner. We had our own host (Ben) who could tell you where every meat, berry, vegetable came from. He was very knowledgeable (with foods and wines) and seemed to love what he does. The appetizers were wonderful - try the assortment of Rocky Mountain meats - amazing. Our meals were exquisite. I had the halibut with a lovely light crust.

Breakfasts were very hearty and ample. Meats, pastries, fruits, yogurt, breads, pancakes/french toast, juice and coffee. You get your own carafe of coffee at your table (I liked this). I found the breakfasts very fulfilling. We had the buffet twice, and then ordered from the menu the last meal. Lots of little dishes and plates for various use!

Having had a meal at Cathedral Mountain Lodge the night prior, I would say the indoor ambiance is better at CML, however, you do have to remember you're in a 100+ year old lodge, where CML is newer and has more decor. you do get to view Emerald Lake from most seats in Mt. Burgess. We had one rather foggy window come evening however. I'd say the food and service were quite equal at both ELL and CML.

A great place to stay, get wed or have a romantic break. The lodges are charming and the staff very courteous and helpful. The main restaurant is a little pricey but location stunning. No cars, ne cell phones no tv, wonderful

Both the food and the service were spectacular, for dinner and for breakfast. However, for the price, if you have breakfast included, include it for everyone.

We found this very expensive and very small portions. Limited menu could use a few ordinary choices at better prices for folks on a budget.

Poor quality food served slowly and poorly spiced .. At outrageous prices. Eat elsewhere, or expect to be ripped off. View compensates.
