“Good room, good food, decent pool but with a great surprise”

The room was comfortable, the food at Bear Claw restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious. The pool was huge but crowded. There is a diving pool that was fun. The real treasure of this hotel is the warm waterfall and natural pool at the back of the property. If you are into natural and rustic hot spring, not the warm swimming pools you find everywhere, this is the place for you. Management will discourage you but if you are intrepid, take a walk along the stream at the back of the property, between the hotel and the RV park, follow the trail and the stream and after about 15 minutes, you'll come across the hot waterfall. We went at 7AM and scrambled over the stream bank and up the other side and spent 1 hour just exploring this gorgeous place and soak in the warm, natural hot spring.

We also visited Lussier Hot Spring on our way to Whitefish. Lussier is also a super, natural hot spring. It is a series of 4 hot pools, each a different temperature. The pools are located next to a big river fed by melting glaciers. It was a lovely location, lots of butterflies flitting about as you soak in the pools. Bliss out!

Perfect week, with wonderful friends and family! Mountainside golf was supreme, greens were great. Coys 9 hole course is so fun do not miss it. If you need a great massage the Copper point Spa was just amazing.

We had booked a cabin for a one night stay a couple of weeks ago. It was a one bedroom. We have been to Fairmont before and stayed in regular rooms so this time we decided to try something different. The unit itself was very nice. Had a cooktop and small fridge, sink... Bathroom updated, newer tv. My complaint is the way its set up. The air conditioning is like a hotel unit and its in the front room. It kept going into the econo mode cycle and would shut off even though the room was not the temp we had it at. It was very hot that weekend so the place was not cooling down. The bedroom is totally separate and has a door on it. It has no air conditioning in it no ceiling fan , nothing... well it has a window but its up real high with no ledge so you cannot put a fan in it and there are no screens anyways on the windows!!! Are you kidding me its Canada... Like there are no bugs there... The mosquitos are just waiting to take you away. The internet did not work in our place so we called for help. we were told to go up to the picnic tables which are a little walk and try and hook up there and see if it goes back to your place. If you are counting on internet don't. It was totally in and out. It got so hot in our place we finally called the front desk to be moved to another place. we didn't care if it was a regular room we just couldn't take it anymore. They came out with a key and moved us to a cottage right next door to our cabin. This cottage was sooooo nice and cool... The air conditioning in this unit was one that was near the top of the wall in between the the two bedrooms. The bedrooms had a shared vaulted ceiling. It was a two bedroom and had a full fridge in it. It was very nice!!! We got a great nights sleep and headed home the next day. The staff took care of us and we really appreciate this!!

We did not stay at the resort, but we did visit the Hot springs pools. The pool complex is great, and the pools are so relaxing! We hope to visit again sometime in the future.

Great place to stay...room was wonderful - king size bed, balcony facing pools, quiet with great bedding.
Love the pools...especially the private pool for guest, which for me is more appealing than the large public pools.
Mountain Flowers Restaurant serves tasty food.. our stay was great all around....

Thank Debra M
