I stayed at the Skimmerhorn Inn during a work conference for three nights in mid October. The rooms seemed to have been painted and cleaned up since the last time I stayed a few years ago - new owners I think.
The room was dated, but simple and clean. Walls seemed thin because you can hear showers, toilets flushing, neighbours talking, traffic from the highway, etc.
You receive your TV remote when you check in. Thought that was kind of weird and untrusting.
I didn't use it, but thought it was neat that they offer use of a fire pit and BBQ area.
Overall, Skimmerhorn Inn is nothing fancy, but has friendly staff and is clean and comfortable enough for a couple nights.More
