Had a great stay here for 3 nights. Beds were very comfortable and the hotel was quiet which made a for a great sleep! Great location, near many restaurants and across the street from a grocery store. My kids ( ages 8 and 5) had a great time in the pool although it was a little small.
My only complaint is that the people at the front desk were not overly friendly. Never said hi when we were coming in and out. Did not ask if we needed help wiith our luggages, asked if we were looking for recommendations on things to do and see or places to eat.. things that I have come to expect at all the hotel where we stay.....

Stayed here with our family of 4 (inc two kids) the weekend of July 27.

We go to Montreal every couple of years and normally stay in one of the mid-range hotels in downtown Montreal, but a fantastic deal came up with this hotel so I decided to book here.
At first I was worried about the distance to Montreal, but it really is only a 10 minute drive away from downtown.
Honestly as Montreal is quite spread out we would normally drive to our destinations anyway (and have to pay for street parking there), so having free parking at this hotel is a big plus when the cost of parking at a downtown hotel is between $25 to $30/day.

The hotel is located in the burbs, with a basic grocery store across the street and various chain restaurants in the area.

The hotel room is quite spacious, as is the bathroom (which had a large walk-in shower).
There were bathrobes available, and the toiletries were in a dispenser, which is actually better than having to deal with tiny bottles that may or may not have enough product for 4 people. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are available in the shower, and lotion in front of the sink.
The room comes with a keurig coffee-maker, and we were given a nice assortment of various coffees to use (ranging from flavoured coffee, regular coffee, decaf, and a green tea).
There was a fridge in the cabinet under the coffee maker that I was not aware of, but it was barely lukewarm at best. I was not expecting it and we did not have to use it for this trip, so I did not bother to complain or notify the front desk about it.
The room was clean, and finishings were basic but modern and appeared to be new-ish or recently updated.

We did use the "spa" area, which had a tiny workout room (a couple of machines and 20lb hand weights), a small pool (there is a large sign that says only 10 people maximum at a time), a whirlpool that was about the same size as the pool, and a sauna (that did not get too hot). The kids enjoy swimming wherever we go, and pool towels were plentiful.

The only other complaint was that the blackout curtain did not extend fully to the ground, so we did get sunlight coming in the morning when we were looking forward to sleeping in.

But all in all, I was impressed with this suburban hotel.
When in Montreal we go to see the sights and eat the wonderful food -- we don't go to stay in the hotel or eat in the hotel.

The staff were friendly, the amentities were available, the size and cleanliness of the room, the free Wi-Fi, the free parking and the price all made up for the fact that we were not in downtown Montreal. I would definitely stay here again.

If you're going to Montreal to party or enjoy the nightlife I would probably not recommend this hotel (as you would ideally like a hotel within walking distance to all of those things), but if you're going with family and planning to go into the city in the morning to enjoy all the sights and then return to the hotel after a late dinner, a 10 minute drive is nothing.
(And being from Toronto, I'm used to larger, spread-out cities and a 10 minute drive doesn't even get you from one end of the downtown area to the other, much less the entire city) so it wasn't a big deal for us at all.

Traveling on the South Shore of Montreal, this is by far the nicest hotel! (NOTE: I go there on business trips and don't go out to visit/ not as a tourist) It is some 20 miles away from Montreal and not in a "happening" place - so if you are looking to walk to restaurants and experience the city - this is not your best location. That being said, beautiful hotel! Nice, modern, clean - impeccable! Easy to get to (next to a highway), some restaurant chains a few minutes away if you want to eat out. More expensive then other hotels in the area but worth every penny!

Hotel is relatively new and clean. Although i was very satisfied with all; until i called back cause i had forgotten an item in the room. Be careful... Make sure you dont leave anything behind because the will NOT find it. First and last impressions count. Forgotten items are NOT returned at this place.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating from the moment we walked in. Housekeeping is prompt. The hotel was clean and modern. The color scheme is a little dull but the furniture and appliances appeared to be recently updated. The bed was comfy and the bar/restaurant and pool looked very nice although we did not get the opportunity to try them out. There appears to be no bellman but there were luggage carts readily available in the front lobby. At check out we were asked to pay an additional $9 (we prepaid) because we were charged the wrong amount. We didn't understand how that could happened but we were in a rush and did not want to take the time to debate.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 5th floor not from from the ice machine. The room was a a decent size. There is no...

So my first impression of this hotel was positive, front desk staff were not particularly friendly but they made sure that we checked in promptly. The lobby is quiet and has a very informal vibe as there is no one to really greet you or assist with luggage as you walk in. Our keys were not working for our suite, which was remedied by us changing rooms-- not too much of an inconvenience but still notable.

This hotel is situated close to the highway so we were able to park at the metro station which was about $8.00 per day. It was my first time in Montreal and we drove there from Toronto so having free parking at the hotel was great. If you want to party in Montreal I don't recommend staying here because of the location.

The bathroom was designed wonderfully with marble and had useful accessories and toiletries available for our convenience. I liked the bathrobes and fresh towels.

Overall the hotel was clean and the room was comfortable.

You arrive at the place and there absolutly no bellman to help you out with the lugages. The reception was really cold and took $150 hold on my credit card in case something happen, on top of that there's 14.95%+$2 Taxes.Provided false information at the reception about the price difference online and at the check in. When we get in the room the A/C was open to the MAXIMUM !!! The room as like a fridge. There's NO heat to compensate. The mattress was cheap and very hard, like a rock. We asked to change to another room but they gave us a smaller room with the same problem, cold and uncomfortable mattress. The period was June 30 to july 2nd 2013.Going to Montreal from the hotel was difficult due to a lot of constructions and dead end streets. The Only positive point is the Supermaket 1minute away by walk that you can buy cheap food. Threre's NO buffet at the restaurant and the prices were very expensive, an exemple, 2 cooked eggs for $18 !!!! The Pool was very small, the jacuzzi was ok. Never come back.
