I stayed at the Wedgwoood manor the long August weekend with a friend. I had been there many years ago and had always wanted to return to this small place in paradise. I was not disappointed. The place had as much charm as I remembered. We were greeted by Andre and offered a complimentary drink. The room was very large and clean. Each room has its own character, some of them can easily accomodate a family. The beds were very comfortable. The property is very well kept and you can go for a nice walk or a hike. The dog, Mica will guide you to the waterfall. We enjoyed our breakfast on the front porch in the morning. And what a breakfast! Nancy is a fantastic cook and each breakfast was divine.
We found that, although the Manor may appear secluded, it is a convenient distance from many good restaurants and artisan shops in Crawford Bay. The restaurant at the golf course is only a few minutes away and is also a good choice. We took the ferry everyday to go explore the Kootenays and we were very happy to be able to come back to a nice and quiet place.
I hope to be back again for another wonderful vist!More
