A few kilometres away from the town but easy to get to, even by bicycle. A lovely clean beach with lovely clear water

A nice beach coupled with a weird experience. To get to it you must enter an army base! All you do is say that you’re going to the beach and the guard may ask you to sign in, we did, so take your passports just in case. We walked, i wouldn’t suggest this get a tuk tuk or rent a bike. Worth a trip though as there are spectacled langurs nearby that you can feed, there is a bloke there selling mango pieces. If you like seeing wildlife it is worth the visit as the beach is nice but not spectacular.

Not so much crystal waters as warm shallows with a nice view and a good selection of cheap food. Not an obvious place to get to but only a 20 minute bike ride (rent bikes in town for 50 baht a day) or 5 min. Cab. Relaxing and affordable family fun...my kids especially enjoyed the old war planes and fake life-size animal statues! Oh.. And the warm ocean.

The three wheeled Samlor takes you through the Air Force base. You drive across a Runway and are dropped at beautiful little bay.
Almost empty yet full of chairs and tables. quiet and sort of secret. It is one of those places you don't want to many people to know about.

I was astonished when I saw such a beautiful view. It was a breathtaking moment when I got there for the very first time. I do hope that people (especially the army) will take good care of the beach as it is still clean and quiet.
