One of the cleanest beaches in Thailand. Very beautiful. The dusky leaf monkeys are the best (and love corn--buy from market for an unforgettable experience)!

This is our kind of beach - quiet, natural, not many foreigners, good eateries, great sand, gently sloping beach, safe swimming and safe for kids. Absolutely idyllic!

Traveling around Thailand and looking for most peaceful beach in Thailand 's gulf ? Must visit to Prachuapkhirikhan and heading to Aou Ma-now (it is mean Lemon Bay in Thai) This area is under property of THai airforec base and use to be landing site for japanese soildiegalow anr betwwen WW II.But now it is white sand beach with very cheap bungalow and hotel run by Airforce base unit 53.Most unordinary from elsewhere is very cheap seafood along the beach and clean cooking by family of the soldier in the airbase.Every time for me and my family visit ,this place never make me disappointed, but most favorite to my kids and my wife.

Ao Manao beach is about 4 kilometres from the town it's clean with a food court at the back and deck chairs, brolly and table for about 50 bht., it is walkable but a bycycle or motor bike is handy as this enables you to tour around the airforce base (wing 5) to see things especially the Spectacled Lungar monkeys which are really sweet to see.
