We took a room for 22000 Ariary. It was ckean and the bed was comfortable. Close to the port.
They have another hotel in Mangily that is very nice. Internet worked well.
They have a restaurant where lots of locals were eating

Nice place - very good value. The hotel has a restaurant and a courtyard to sit out and relax. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Good internet. We will stay here again when we return from Anakao.

The hotel is in a very bad neighborhood!! We woke up in the middle of the night looking at a man going through our stuff.. Not such a nice experience..
And the owners didn't care at all..
So if you come to Tuliara find a good expensive hotel that has a gard

Chez Lala is a laid back local guest house in the center of Tulear. The rooms are fine for the price, which is probably the cheapest I paid during my whole trip in Mada. They have all the necessary basics and are ok clean. There are a lot of local people staying there which gives the place a more authentic vibe. The guesthouse is near the tourist port and ticket offices of most speed boats that go to Anakao. There is free wifi,it works very good but only in the reception/restaurant area. Staff are friendly and laid back. They only speak French.Don't expect much from them but they can do the basics.Breakfast is good and fairly priced.
