We had a great weekend in Muckhart. The winter walk along Glensherup and the reservoir near Glendevon in the snow was really worth the effort and saw a couple of deer running in the forest. The log burning stove was very welcome on our return from the walk! Marion & Stuart have a super cottage which is very welcoming & the bedroom was very bright and comfortable. We really enjoyed the homemade tattie scones with smoked salmon & tomatoes for breakfast - set us up for the rest of the day!

I stayed at Baldiesburn while on business in the area. It is really handy for Edinburgh, Stirling and a drive through scenic Glendevon gave access to Gleneagles and Perthshire. Stuart and Marion were delightful hosts - very friendly and helpful. My room was beautifully decorated (all freshly done) and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and it was nice to get something a bit different with pancakes and fresh fruit on offer.
I would definitely stay again next time I'm in the area.

Talk about being lucky, we were one of the first to discover this absolute treasure of a B&B tucked under the Ochil Hills on the road from Stirling to St Andrew's. Newly renovated by hugely hospitable owners Marion and Stuart, the cottage combines the best of traditional Scotland with modern home comforts.

We stayed in the beautifully decorated ensuite double room - with its countryside colours, fresh, crisp bed linen, silk finishings and fluffy white towels, it immediately felt like a place of calm relaxation and one where we enjoyed a blissful night's sleep. The view of the hills from the room was spectacular. But the best was yet to come. The house breakfast, home-made bread and pancakes were out of this world!

Marion and Stuart could not have been kinder or more helpful. They take a genuine pleasure in ensuring their guests have a great stay and we certainly did. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
