We visited with family on a Saturday evening (booking essential). The place still looks like the pub it once was, but has been spruced up. We were seated in the bar area at first and I feared that meant they were running behind time, but actually it all turned out to be very efficient. We were served drinks in the bar area and placed our order from the bar table. We were seated for our meal fairly soon afterwards.
The dining area is spacious, and on a busy Saturday night had a good atmosphere without being too noisy. The menu is extensive, with good veggie options, no problems there at all.
Given how busy they were, we were satisfied with the speed of the food service, and we were regularly visited by members of staff to ensure that we had all the drinks etc. that we needed. We certainly did not feel forgotten about while waiting.
The food itself was excellent, from the poppadoms to the mains. The tarka dhal was about the best I've had, and the portions very generous. We felt the prices were very reasonable.
We were so pleased to have gone there for our family night out. Can't fault it.

Good atmosphere, excellent food and service. A must try for lovers of Indian cuisine. We were warmly greeted and could not believe how busy it was. Must book to ensure a table. We really enjoyed our visit. Thanks we will be back.

I have eaten out at lots of several Indian restaurants. I still say that Cuisine of India is by far the best. Great surroundings. fantastic food . very generous portions and such beautiful flavours. the CHEF is amazing. Have eaten here lots of times over the years both in the restaurant and as a take away. both equally as good. staff always friendly and make you feel most welcome.

We visited the cuisine of India after originally going out for a carvery at Toby carvery enderby ... We had a bad experience and walked out, having been put off the idea of carvery we tried the cuisine of India as we had heard such good reviews from family and friends and it lived up to our expectations and beyond, staff were fantastic really friendly and the food was to die for ... Absolutely perfect! I will never go to another Indian restaurant again...cuisine of India is by far the best We have ever eaten, our new local :)
