We stayed here a year ago and returned last week for two nights of a short tour of Cornwall. This remains one of the best campsites we've ever been to. It's small and friendly, absolutely immaculate and with spotless facilities. It was fully occupied when we were there but the pitches are so well arranged and spacious that there was still plenty of room and privacy for everyone. The walk downhill into Polruan and the ferry to across Fowey is lovely...it's the walk back uphill you've got to watch! The site is an absolute credit to its owners. We had another great stay.

Camped here for 4 nights, great site, large pitches, spotlessly clean, good amenities. Due to it's location on a hill, need a car to get about. Polruan at the bottom of a steep hill, ferry from here to Fowey. Excellent position to walk the South West Coadtal path, dogs allowed. Lovely peaceful location.

Room tip: All pitches are large and in a good postion

Large pitch for camper vans although a bit sloping. Has all the basics - power, showers and toilets but all without tokens or charges so easy to use. Free access to wifi, microwaves and fridge and a shop onsite with a good range of basics. Some lovely routes for walking - especially the route down to the ferry using the national trust path with views over the estuary leading into a small woodland or the road route into Polruan at the back of the site entrance with a well light path to the side of the swings. Coastal path runs off of the main road into Polruan and has amazing views. Great location and beautiful holiday.

Room tip: worth spending extra effort to get flat!

We stayed here last week for 5 nights in order to walk this part of the South West Coast path. Kevin was friendly and helpful, lending us a longer cable for the electric hook up and the shop is well stocked and has fresh bread each day. The sea view from the site is spectacular and the pitches are sheltered by hedges around the site. It was perfect for sitting out and within easy walking distance of the coast path. A bus stops outside the campsite for Polperro and Looe and the ferry across to Fowey runs all day and evening giving access to buses for St Austell and Mevagissy. Everything on the site is spotlessly clean and there's useful information/leaflets for nearby attractions etc. An added bonus was the view of the stars at night. I've never seen so many constellations so clearly!

My husband and I went camping in Cornwall and our 1st stay was at Polruan Holiday Park. Nice big pitch to unfold you tent, great views to the sea, lovely and quiet. Facilities were great too, very tidy and clean. Perfect if you wish for a calm camping experience. Also, Polperro town is very near by too
