You can either walk along the path that fronts the beach perhaps getting some fish and chips or an ice cream along the way. If you have a dog there is an off leash area here as well as a place to park the car. When the weather is warmer you will see children playing in the sand or in the water, there is a lifeguard in the Summer.

More wonderful scenery, lots of birds, I've seen rabbits there. Nice walking trails, and beach walking.

I went there because it was recommended to me as a birding area. It is absolutely worth a visit, but maybe not so much at the peak of low tide (happened to be that day i visited). I believe that at incoming/outgoing tide, there will be more birds to see. Bring not only binos, but a scope! - Still i got a nice walk and some nice birds to see.

Parts of the park are protected area, so no dogs allowed - yet nearby a nice dog-swim area. I liked that

Great family and pet friendly area.
Awesome views.
And with a short walk nice area for a picnic or in the commercial area lunch dinner or coffee.
In short very pleasant area.
