I dont even know where to start, skip canmore, and banff for trail rides this is the place to go. I was speaking to the lady of the ranch the whole time leading upto our ride and she was fantastic! We decided to go for a group trail ride the day before the wedding, just to relax unwind. It poured the whole ride but it was still awesome. Great leads, easy going. They even gave us 2 used horseshoes as memorabilia! Nothing bad to say at all. Will be returning everyyear!

Look no further if you truly want to escape tourist traps. This is the real wild west. This is a family owned and operated, no frills, trail riding experience. This family loves and respects their animals. The property has been in the family since the 1930s...need I say more. No inexperienced guides here. You go in small, intimate groups for a better experience with you and for the horse. Very reasonable prices. Nothing shiny or fancy, just good old fashioned trail riding...and that sense of peacefulness and connectivity that comes with spending time on the backs of these gorgeous creatures.

End of the road, down to earth honest people, not a touristy attractions with full parking lots but instead just a small family business with the attention to detail, conversation and trail ride feel that only such an operation can provide. My family did the 3.5 hour trip that was exciting, rewarding, a little challenging at times and just a real overall horse in the hills ride experience. Owner Dave looks, acts and speaks the part of a long time horse handler/cowboy type...no summer student guides here. Just watch out for the whitetail and mule deer by the road on the way to get here...and only a half hour from Cochrane up hwy 40 past some ranches...truly out in the country feel. Loved it....thanks Dave and family for a wonderful western experience.

We did the overnight stay w/ steak dinner. The owners are very welcoming and nice. The horses were well trained on the ride (this was definitely a follow the leader trail ride with calm horses). The trail was beautiful. The cabins were pretty rustic (outhouse bathroom) but peaceful.
