We stayed at Black Rock Resort for the first time and were very impressed overall. The resort is located right on the ocean and the scenery is beautiful. Our room was perfect and loved the soaker tub and rain shower. Front desk was helpful, our food was excellent at the restaurant and we highly recommend the Drift Spa (but make sure you book in advance, they book up quickly).

Will definately be going back!!

Wonderful vacation property! Loved the décor and the fabulous views!
Hot tub hours need to be extended morning and night to fully relax and enjoy these facilities and food services are okay, but really should be excellent - hope that improves, but there are lots of great restaurants in the area!

We stayed in a self contained cabin (#2103) instead of rooms in the main building. We had a decent peekaboo ocean view. The pro is that it is in the woods but the con is that you have to go outside in order to get to the spa/pool/restaurant. Nice unit, very well equipped kitchen and awesome spa bathroom. The only annoying thing is that the lighthouse's foghorn keep beeping all through the night and woke us up in the morning. Of course it wasn't the resort's fault with the foghorn.

The hotel is well located on the wild pacific trail.

Fetch restaurant was advertised on their website as "fabulous culinary experience"..we thought the menu was quite limited and we were disappointed as it was not up to our expectations. We saw that the lounge was full (we didn't go there as we had kids and kids were not allowed in the lounge)..looked like the lounge had better value food and beverages. Hot tub area was nice, nice view out to the crashing waves.

The Blackrock Resort is in such a beautiful location, situated where you can see the ocean from almost anywhere in the resort. The food was excellent! It was a wonderful way to spend our Christmas with the family.
