We stayed at the Snug Harbor Inn in Ucelet to celebrate our anniversary. The Inn was a great place to do this as it was a beautiful setting on the ocean. Our hosts were very hospitable and we felt very comfortable there. The food was delicious and we enjoyed great views including one of a nearby eagles' nest. Also enjoyed lounging in the hot tub on the deck. We really enjoyed staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at the Snug Harbor Inn! The room was beautiful with an incredible view. Sue was the perfect hostess - fresh baked goods and delicious breakfasts daily and excellent recommendations for outings and restaurants. We highly recommend the Snug Harbour Inn!

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at Snug Harbour Inn. This beautiful Inn is in a great location, right on the beach and just a few kilometers south of Pacific Rim National Park. The accomodations are luxurious and attention to detail means that every need is anticipated. The home made breakfast was delicious and plentiful as were the smoothies and daily baked treats. Sue and Drew also have deep knowledge of the area and were able to provide excellent suggestions regarding restaurants and tours that we enjoyed immensely. Sitting in their hot tub on the deck overlooking the water, having a glass of wine and watching the bald eagles was great downtime on our busy trip.

We stayed three evenings in July 2014, drawn to it by the excellent reviews we had previously read. Snug Harbour is a super place. The Inn itself is very comfortable and spotlessly clean and well maintained. Sue was a very welcoming and helpful host and there are lots of nice touches all around the stay.
Unfortunately I doubt that we will be back in that part of Canada in the near future, but if we ever are we will aim to stay at Snug harbour.

We were so delighted the moment we drove up to A Snug Harbor Inn! It is absolutely an awesome place in all respects. First of all, the setting is "snug" in that it is quiet, set back in a residential area and looks out over the water. We spent 3 nights in the Lighthouse room. It was delightful with a great deck overlooking the bay. It was a great little beach completely private! The room itself was on 3 levels with a great bathroom complete with all amenities.

Second, the great fresh baked goods daily (and all day!) are unbelievable! Sue prepares creative food for breakfast and takes the time to make sure each person is regarded as special as her food. She makes 3 of the same pastry/cake every day so there is always a treat! ( We miss the sticky buns!) She has amazing preparations for eggs from casseroles to wraps. Each breakfast is accompanied by a freshly made fruit smoothie.

Thirdl, the stunning Wild Pacific Trails are such a joyful experience! We loved hiking early and the trails are so well taken care of with great interpretive signs. We specifically feel in love with a hike to Florencia Bay. We were the only people on the wide long beach for the better part of the morning. We were able to see the sea life up close since tide was out and we waded above our of knees in the water. The very early morning fog gave way to a beautiful place.

Fourth mention are the good restaurants in the area. We loved Jiggers (oh yes Sue knows her spots!) and Zoe's. We also delighted in a quiet meal outside on the deck at Black Rock Resort.

Finally, the people are all so friendly and laid back. Life seems meant to enjoy each and every day, and thus we did. Many thanks to Sue, Drew, and Malcom for helping this be a wonderful and regenerating experience for us!

Mike and Sandy

Room Tip: Any room!!! All have great views of the bay and it is very, very quiet!!!!!

We were so fortuante to once again be able to stay at Snug Harbor. Our first visit was about 10 years ago and it was the highlight of our trip. In July we returned for our 4th visit and continue to rank it as a 5 plus star expereince. Sue and Drew go out of their way to accomodate your needs and the grounds are absolutley beautiful. The food is amazing starting with your morning smoothie! Often you return to a place to not find it as you remember it but not Snug Harbor it only gets better if that is possible. It should be on your bucket list!...Jo Ann John

Room Tip: In this BB the 4 four rooms in the main bldg. are all wonderful with a view just depends if you want...

We stayed 5 nights at the west coast and had a wonderful time at this B&B.
Sue and Drew gave us a 'home feeling' far away from Germany. The view is spectacular and to sit on the helipad and look over the sea is really relaxing :-)
We'll try to come back!
