Owner description: The Wild Pacific Trail is located in Ucluelet and is a seven phase trail system skirting the rugged cliffs and shoreline of the west coast of Vancouver Island. Overlooking Barkley Sound and the Broken Group Islands to the east and the open Pacific Ocean to the south and west, it offers spectacular shoreline panoramas and seaward vistas through ancient cedar and spruce-framed viewing platforms constructed on the best headlands along the route.

awesome trail!! no bugs :) the scenary is breath taking and the community has it in tip top shape. There are many signs so you can not get lost and many benches to stop and relax and take the sights in.

“Beautiful views of the ocean”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 June 2014

easy trail with great views. seats to view the "View". Gravel paths so you don't get muddy. We even spotted some whales which was very exciting. Waves lapping against the shore...you get the picture.

I have difficulty walking, but I was to complete the trail and take the most amazing big wave photos that I will cherish forever!

“Great Walking Trail”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2014

The trail is split into different sections but each section is easy to get to and easy to walk. There are beautiful views everywhere. We were there in late May, before the busy season and there were still enough people on this trail where you feel comfortable and safe.

“Pretty but short”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2014

It's a pretty trail but frankly it wasn't worth coming all the way to ucluelet for this! Very short as well, it's not a hike but rather a walk.
