Bayshore Waterfront Inn
Ranked #5 of 11 Hotels in Ucluelet
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 9 July 2013

We booked our stay with the Bayshore with another couple to take advantage of the excellent fishing in Ucluelet. I can't say enough about Teo and her staff at the Bayshore! She was very accommodating, giving us a tour of the Inn and the various rooms available and we chose to upgrade to the "honeymoon suite" with a stunning view of the outer harbor.
Everything was first class, not at all what we would expect on our first adventure with Salmon fishing. The 4-poster bed was so comfortable it was hard to leave it in the mornings for the boat.
Newly renovated, fabulous bathrooms with 4 foot glass showers, marble counters and a large deck to relax on after a day of fishing - we have already booked the room for next year!
The only thing you might want to remember when booking this place is that it is a fishing village, and being right on the water, you will hear the fisherman and their boats as early as 4:30am. But it really isn't that bad as everyone tends to be as quiet as they can so they can get the jump on the later risers and catch the big ones :)

Long Story short arrived after a 2 1/2 day mind boggling flight from Detroit to Calgary (flooded) to Vancouver with multiple delays to find out that my reservation was moved to another place due to a computer glitch/overbooking problem on one of the hotel aggregators. The owner of the properties when out of her way to apologize and to get it fixed. She book us at a great little place just up the street in an upgraded room and then offered to have us come and stay with her for free the next night. Her concern for our well being was very genuine.

The Bayshore Waterfront Inn was amazing. The place was spotless, newly updated rooms, room came fully equipped with utensils. The cost is online or below what others in the area charge. I will come back to again!

We found this place by accident, but boy are we glad we did! We only stayed a night due to a busy schedule but what a lovely night it was. The owners helped us find somewhere to eat, showed us where to see the most eagles, etc. and spoke to us for ages and couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was perfect. The rooms are all newly renovated and the bathroom is divine, brand new huge shower, just what you need after hiking! We had a relaxing evening and a great night sleep and we would recommend this to everyone - perfect for all kinds of trips and great value too!

We will definitely be coming back in summer and we can't wait to come back.

We arranged for four of us to stay here and go out with one of their guides . Steve was great . We limited or close to it both days . The rooms were very nice and not too expensive . We could do an easy walk to the boat in the morning . Steve set us up with Farwest to get our fish cleaned , fileted and frozen in cryopacks . All in all it was of the best weekends that I have had in years .
