“wonderful trip”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

Rachel certainly knew her stuff. We had to go along the coast, rather than around the Broken Islands, but Rachel knew how to find those whales. It was so good to be able to be so close to the whales, but Rachel stressed that she is governed by the whales, and will not do anything to upset them (so pleased to hear it as we went whale watching in New England and there were so many boats in their feeding ground). This was such a wonderful experience, just us all looking for theblow holes, and so exciting when one whale came up so close to us. Also saw seals, bald eagles, a puffin. Brilliant trip, highly recommend it.

“Highly Recommended”

Went on a great tour with Rachel, really enjoyed it. We didn't see any whales, despite heroic efforts to find them, but saw sea lions, seals, jellyfish, and eagles, plus the amazing sites of the broken group Islands. Rachel is so knowledgeable about the area and the animals and we learned a ton of information. This was definitely a highlight of our trip.

Rachel is awesome! She is so knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed being out on the open water with her. We didn't see any whale, but she did go out of her way to try and find us some. We would go out with her in a heart beat....

“Birthday on the Barkley ”

Okay friends. Anyone traveling through Vancouver island/ ucluelet need not pass without hopping on board Spyhop adventure!!

We went out with a group of 6 and had the ride of our lives! Rachel, the true star of this attraction was very professional and extremely informative. After saying goodbye to the resident sea lion at the dock, we went out on a boat ride that boasted the best views of the west coast. As a resident of BC for over 18 years, it's so refreshing to see and learn so much more of our beautiful backyard.

We saw so much marine life including the much anticipated orca whale!!! Unreal! So close to the boat yet not intrusive to its natural habitat.

Also!!! We pulled up some prawn traps that Rachel had set up prior our arrival and caught around 80 prawns which we then fried up for my birthday. Talk about a special addition to our custom-made birthday tour.

Rachel, you're a star. We will definitely be back!
