I went here in October with my 3 children, other half. We stayed in the captains quarters. I've got to say its one of the most beautiful places I've been. Every day we walked the light house loop, had bbq's and went in our own private hot tub. Plenty of local shops for food and drinks, visited the local aquarium which the kids enjoyed and saw seals in the harbour. The accommodation was perfect comfy beds and well equip kitchen. Plenty of games and DVDs available from the office. I will definitely be going back when I next visits Canada. Also beech is a stone throw away and views are spectacular

We stayed at Terrace Beach Resort over the May long weekend in the Sea Glass oceanfront cabin. It was absolutely beautiful and rustic at the same time. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, romantic and family-friendly. We were two couples and a child and had plenty of room and privacy.

There is no better way to fall asleep or wake up than to the sound of the ocean! The balcony was the perfect place to have a glass of wine at the end of the day or a cup of coffee in the morning.

We were lucky to have great weather even though rain was in the forecast for the whole weekend so we took full advantage of Terrace Beach, the trails and the other nearby beaches. The view from the balcony, deck and soaker tub are amazing, especially at sunset.

The cabin had a small full kitchen (no oven) and also a bbq so cooking was a great option. There are also many extras at the office to help pass rainy days such as games, movies and even rubber boots and umbrellas.

Terrace Beach has plenty of fish, star fish, anemones, sea glass, shells, etc. for exploring and photography. The Wild Pacific Trail is a lovely walk through dense cedars and ferns with beautiful ocean views.

We could have easily stayed much longer at this lovely resort. We felt very welcome right from our arrival and our stay was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back!

Room Tip: The Oceanfront cabins are definitely the way to go!

Did I get your attention? Well good! Stop searching for the best place to stay in Ucluelet, this is the best place to stay. They have everything cabins on the beach facing the ocean and boardwalk rooms as well. Margie is so nice and helpful, and they even have board games and DVDs you can borrow for those rainy days. We love the the cabin feel, it feels like home. The cabin we were in had a hot tub on the deck and a jet tub upstairs facing the ocean. Cook your own meals in the kitchen Or BBQ on the deck. It feels so private, like your own little oasis. Staff come and grab the garbage and provide new towels if needed. The boardwalk to the cabins is so unique. There is also a back way in that leads to the wild pacific trail which is awesome. Wow wow wow! Your search is over book it already.

Outstanding Views, Beautiful Cabins, Friendly Attentive staff. If you are lucky enough to enjoy a trip the the coast of Vancouver Island and you want the most breathtaking of views on your stay, I cannot say enough about the beautiful cabins at Terrace Beach Resort. Our cabin was right beside the entrance to the Pacific Rim Trail, and you can enjoy a wonderful walk through the amazing forest to the lighthouse at the point and a wonderful view of Pacific. Our cabin had a Hot Tub and while you enjoy this treat you can watch the sunset over the Pacific.

Room Tip: If you want an ocean view look for Sea Star or any on the lower cabins the views are not to be misse...

My wife and I have a brace of Pugs and a Boston Terrier and we really wanted to get away to the West Coast and bring the pups with us. The Terrace Beach Resort was not only an amazingly beautiful place for us to relax and unwind, but a cozy and welcoming place for our four legged friends. It's so nice to come to a place where your pets are welcomed as much as we were. We look forward to coming back soon. Thanks for a great mini vacation!

We stayed here for two nights and were impressed with the room and service. The resort is set up akin to a 1920s fishing village and has rustic charm. We really liked how it was reasonably priced for what you receive as well as the fact that it is close to some nice walking trails and is only a 20 min drive to Long Beach.

Unfortunately our fridge stopped working during the trip, but they were quick to have the situation dealt with and reimbursed me for the spoiled food (meat) that was in the fridge. I was impressed with this as not only did it speak to their customer service, but was also the right thing to do.

The only thing I wish I had known was their "emergency" number could actually be used for noise complaints. We stayed in one of the Boardwalk suites and they share a wall with another unit. On the second night of our stay there was a group that had a very loud party until about 4am. It was unfortunate, and they were apologetic and told me that they will respond to noise complaints after 10pm. I did find it funny how this group that made my night miserable by making noise put a "Please Do Not Disturb" sign on their door the next morning!
