“Absolutely fabulous!”
Reviewed 21 March 2011

Judy and Gary are perfect hosts. We stayed in the superbly equipped Trail Suite and enjoyed it tremendously. If we are ever in the area again, we certainly will choose Bostrom's again. We especially loved Judy's stories and her special attentions which made our 4 night stay seem too short. Thanks,Judy! Carla and Ken.

They have what they advertise and then some...lots actually. The view from our room was great. The hot tub was perfect at the end of a very wet walk on the Wild Pacific Trail. Judy and Gary are the best hosts. Loved sitting at breakfast with Judy and sharing stories. Not to mention the fabulous food! The crab hors d'oeuvres (which ended up also being lunch the next day) were excellent. What a great experience to get to go crabbing. We went for the storm watching and were not disappointed though I'm not sure Judy and Gary had anything to do with that. Thank goodness they provide raingear as mine was not sufficient. We are already planning a return trip next year.

We've been staying at Bostrom's B&B since 2008 and love it!! Judy and Gary are the exceptionally friendly owners, who make sure your stay is fantastic. Our first visit out to the B&B was during VERY inclement weather, and we arrived several hours late. When we walked in, they had snacks waiting, had heated our beds with electric blankets and had left us a crab dinner in the fridge. In the mornings we were treated to some of the best breakfast food we have tasted! We quickly fell in love with these people and their B&B and have returned on several occasions. In fact, we have loved the B&B and their company so much that we have booked our wedding stay with them this September!

We traveled to Ucluelet and met friends for a weekend at Bostroms B and B. The setting was exquisite with oceanviews from all rooms. Comfy beds, privacy and a relaxing common area with coffeee, tea and snacks. They have a games room with a full size pool table in the basement which started a tournament. This area lead out to a wraparound deck to enjoy the view and a huge hot tub, fluffy robes included. Gary and Judy pointed us in the direction of the Wild Pacific Trail which follows the coastline in all its glory. Crashing waves and twisted trees bent by Mother Natures whim. It was suggested to try the restaurant at the Black Rock Resort and can honestly say the waves outside the enormous floor to ceiling windows were spectacular. The food was excellent with seafood an obvious choice. You are guaranteed a true Westcoast experience at this loveley B and B.

We have been staying in bed and breakfasts for years, and this is definitely one of the best places we have ever found. From fresh crab waiting for us upon check-in to gorgeous views and wildlife (including a bear) walking through the yard and in the bay, the location and the hosts are second to none. The inn itself is perfectly set up with more outdoor deck space than I have ever seen at an inn (including a great view and semi-private deck off each of the rooms) and a large, comfortable common area with the same great view and lots of activities for the evenings or if the weather is uncooperative. Judy and Garry have thought of absolutely everything that you might need or want during your stay, and they are so welcoming that it feels like you are staying with friends. Judy was also a great resource before our trip with tour recommendations and a very detailed list of activities and restaurant recommendations for the drive from Victoria. We can't recommend this place enough!!

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hosts were warm and welcoming and offered lots of advice for any questions we asked. The hot tub was a treat. Our room was clean and comfortable with a terrific view. The hosts supply wet weather gear if needed. The breakfasts were great. It was a pleasure to stay here. We'd go back for sure.
