We visited this resort for a nice end of the summer get away. This is a very nice country resort. The lake is beautiful and the beach is very clean and kept weed free for the most part. We did feel that the beach area could have some nicer sand and be extended down towards the cottage area. We stayed in a lodge that faced the water which we loved. The rooms are very rustic and the only complaint that we had was that the couch was extremely uncomfortable and needed to be replaced..I believe that it was a pullout bed so I wouldnt want to sleep on it. We did enjoy a few meals at the restaurant which was very good and the service was outstanding there. We also enjoyed the tennis courts even though they were in pretty rough shape and are just asphalt which blackens the balls quickly which in turn rubs off on your clothes...so it you just want some exerice and dont take it too seriously then it is fine. We did enjoy venturing into Picton and checking out some shops....such a great town> The fitness room was awful, broken and missing equipment in a dingy basement room..this needs improvement for sure, We did really enjoy our stay but did feel that so much could be done to update the resort but we would return again.
