Cute idea, but could add some chips or something with dogs. We had flights and sauces were tasy but not very much food for price. Ice tea was bland and watery, even though homemades. We got suckered in with the hype but were dissapointed.

If you want a great little snack in a cute shop from wholesome, earnest staff then stop in at Buddha Dog! We had the daily special (a combo of asparagus, tasty cheese & Bearnaise sauce on a wholesome locally made sausage and fresh bun), washed down with their housemade herby iced tea served in a canning jar. It was delightful. The small town feel of the place really added to the experience - from the old fashioned screen doors left open to catch the breeze to the vintage tables and the rough kitchen, I felt like I had stepped back into a simpler time. So refreshing after all the cookie cutter, air conditioned fast food place one often has to frequent. FYI, the Dogs are snack size, so if you are wanting a meal order 2 or 3, but they are the perfect size for a light afternoon nosh and only $2.50 each. My only suggestion would be to streamline the ordering/prep/serve system. The young girl behind the counter, altho diligently trying her best, appeared to be working too hard to accomplish all of that on her own (and the system for paying with debit was a bit odd as well). This place is definitely worth many return visits!

Let's start with the wiener, small, resembling a pepperette ,and dry. The asparagus was recommended, but consisted of four or five tiny spears. There were no fresh relishes or cooked. The sauces were bland as was the cheese. A thoroughly unenjoyable experience, and one which I will not repeat. The staff was friendly and the restaurant clean. But nothing can make up for a tasteless sausage and lacklustre accoutrements. And for eating on the run, please do not serve your hot dogs open at the bottom, wrap the bottom of the covering so that when you bite down everything does not squeeze out!

We stayed around the corner and stopped in for a midday snack. We liked the spot and enjoyed our hot dogs -- nice relaxed atmosphere and good quality local food. Recommended.
