It was so good to stumble across the Mustang Drive-In while staying at Huff Estates. Nostalgia is definitely the theme here.. I loved the entrance booth consisting of an old bus. How unique! My husband and I got there early and decided to take a walk around the property and quite enjoyed investigating the old fire truck off to the side of the property. The snack shack offers all the treats you remember as a kid at quite reasonable prices. The staff is super friendly - we had fun tweeting pictures we took while we were there, which were promptly retweeted with commentary. Ha! The movie selection was fantastic (first rate movies) and we had nothing but a good time while we were there. I highly recommend this as a family-fun weekend excursion!

Wow, how many of these places still exist? A truly nostalgic experience that is a MUST for anyone who loves film, and especially young families...

We always try to get to a drive-in whenever we can during the summer, and seek them out when we are on "road trips". Mustang Drive-in has 2 screens, both show 2 movies/night. This drive-in was enjoyable, and certainly very friendly, but could have used a few upgrades to things like their restrooms. While I do not think drive-ins should get TOO fancy or TOO fixed up -- the "retro" environment is certainly the most enjoyable part of the experience, this one could have used just a few little bits of upgrading. That being said, we had a good time and will return next time we are in the area. Nothing says summer like a drive-in movie theatre. Prices can't be beat, either - we went on the $15/carload Thursday night. That would have allowed us to see both movies, but we only stayed for the first one as we had already seen the 2nd feature. Always recommended!

Fantastic way to spend a nice, summer evening.

It's very clear that this is a family-owned establishment. They make you feel welcome and are happy to accommodate everyone, and help them in any way we can. Great picture, the radio was nice and clear, as well. Definitely want to visit again next season!
