This is a great place to spend a summer afternoon. The view is beautiful and the drive through Waupoos is also lovely. The cider is excellent, definitely take the time to do a tasting, the staff are friendly. The food is ok, it used to be a lot better with interesting cheese boards and home made hummus. now the pizzas appear to be made from pre made/frozen bases and the menu is, Not that special but definitely worth the trip for the cider and the view!

We came at the end of the day and they had already cleaned up but gave us the free cider tasting anyways.

Loved the cider. Bought a few bottles. The peach cider was awesome.

The view was gorgeous. Next time we will go back for their lunch.

A spectacular location and wonderful atmosphere. The prices are somewhat steep for am meal however that's not why you would go here. The cider (alcohol or non) is excellent when available. It is unfortunate however that three of my five times visiting they never have the non-alcohol cider available. Pretty disappointing when "cider" is in your name. When you are attempting to keep your kids calm while trying to enjoy the county, cider at a cider place would be handy.

I have visited County Cider many times in the last 20 years and finally got around to do a review. What else do you want?! World class cider (yep, they've won awards around the world) and are rated as 'one of the top ten ciders' in the world'. A gorgeous professional tasting room in a stone building 150 years old, a patio with a spectacular view of Waupoos Bay that is littered with the apple trees which produce his golden nectar of love. How about some of the best wood fired pizza you will ever eat? Yes, an outdoor wood fired clay oven spits out some of the best thin crusted, fresh ingredient pizza ever. They serve up to 250-300 people a day in the summer on a Sat or Sun. Great, personable service despite the volume of people.. A great gift shop full of their products and other cool stuff. Hosts Grant and Jenn live on the property in a house whose first mortgage was held by Sir John A. Macdonald. They are around a lot of the time and are gracious to talk to everyone that comes in. Plan on spending at least an hour or two at this unbelievably cool cidery and eatery. You will think you have died and gone to heaven.
