The Beck and Call has been open since January (2014) and is getting ready for the summer season in Prince Edward County. They are on the site formerly known as "Currah's Cafe and Restaurant".
We visited on Easter Sunday and had a nice informal lunch. She had the jalapeno burger and he had the blue cheese burger. Both were excellent and looked like they had been made by hand. Lots to eat, so good value there.
The fries seemed to be frozen French fries, but we can set that aside. Both burgers were excellent and this place is certainly worth a return visit.
Only issue is they had a sign in the window saying that they would be closed on Sundays in the future... like, forever? With the tourist season almost upon us? Anyway, if you want to visit on Sundays, call ahead to ensure they will be open.
